Marsupilami #0

Capturem um Marsupilami!

Rate this book

I never read Marsupilami as a kid because I found it so strange looking creature. I always wondered the title too, Marsupilami, what does that mean? Fun fact: marsu is a Finnish word for a guinea pig, and pondered where is that animal because I couldn’t find it anywhere on the pages. Also pila is a Finnish word, meaning a prank or a joke (that fits to this album!), depending on a context. That also was a part of why I never started to read them. So, for me this meant guinea pig prank. Nevermind the -mi, of which meaning was left unanswered and I didn’t care. Kids and their logic! I had no idea Marsupilami is the original title, it only occurred to me as an adult.

So, a quick time travelling to present time: what a funny album, why I didn’t read this as a child?!?
