I just turned 19 last February.

When I was 14, my goal was to have readers who will appreciate my story, goal accomplished.

When I was 18 my goal was to publish a book, now I have a published book - goal accomplished.

NOW, my goal is to write and publish something I can call a masterpiece before I turn 30.

I still have 11 years to go, I can do this. I just have to use the same formula:

Sa pagkakasulat, hindi siya tulad ng ibang libro na nakaka-boring kung babasahin. Isa sa mga katangian ni HaveYouSeenThisGirl ang mag-aliw sa mga mambabasa, at naniniwala ako doon.

May mga misspelled words sa book.

Common lang ang story (nasabi ko ito dahil nabasa ko na ang buong story sa Wattpad noon), isang gwapong lalaking nainlove sa pangit na babae. Pero kahit na ganoon, naaliw at nagustuhan ko pa rin ito.

Can't wait for the 3rd Book!

[Review update 07/09/13]

The book is still unfinished. Just like I predicted they're doing a series on it. I'll be anticipating the next book that starts where it left off in the Wattpad version.

Still not satisfied with this edition. There are still glitches or might I say grammatical errors that I think it wasn't proofread that much. :( I guess the artwork is better now, it's clear unlike the first book that had a blurry cover.

I'm so difficult to please. Haha. But yeah.

For anyone who's looking for a light read in Filipino or Tagalog or if you're a Wattpad reader that didn't get to read this on the site before the author (Denny) deleted it, it's a must read. For me it's still a premature story, it's cliché, and I've read better young-adult novels. (It's a combination of Boys over Flowers and Kaichou wa Maid-sama! set in fictional Philippines if you're into Korean dramas and animé.) But for a teenager to come up with such an interesting read, it's amazing. Indeed.

Looking forward to the next installment. :)

Paganda ng paganda ang istorya,, woooh.. halos hindi ko na mabitawan itong libro isang araw tapos ko na agad. Kaya lang nabitin nanaman ako hahaha.. Sana marelease na yung next part ng book ng DNP.. I sooo like the story.. Nakukulitan at natutuwa ako pagdating kela Eya at Cross.. Para silang aso't pusa away ng away.. Eto naman kasi si Cross kala mo may menstruation lagi kay Eya lagi nagsusungit tapos nilalait pa lalo na ngayon gumanda na siya (pasalamat na lang siya sa beauty treatment na ginawa sa kanya ni Lory ;)) Di ko rin maiwasan isipin kung sino makakatuluyan ni Eya it's either si Chad na super gwapo, friendly at major crush at heartthrob ng bayan o si Cross kahit super sungit,kahit mapanglait sa iba lalo na pagdating kay Eya at kahit mataas ang pride (takot naman sa multo ;P) at super gwapo rin meron naman din siyang good side diba.. Waaah, excited na talaga malaman ang next part ng story :)

Tatabasin ko ang mga parteng 'yan, kung ako ang editor. Sensitibo, kung hindi man delikado (para na rin sa akin) ang mga linyang tumatalakay sa ganitong paksa, lalu na't sa hindi masyadong akmang pamamaraan.

Ganoon pa rin. Sandamakmak pa rin ang mga irrelevant na eksena. Puro asaran pa rin sila Eya at Cross. Medyo maayos pa 'yung unang chapter kung saan nagsalo sila sa Boy Bawang. Mumuntikan na akong ubrahan ng kakaunting kilig. MUMUNTIKAN lang; hindi pa rin natuloy.

At ni minsan, hindi ko talaga nagawang matawa sa bawat nababasa ko dito. Sa totoo lang.

Now proceeding to Book 3. Umaasa pa rin akong makakaaninag ng kaunti pang liwanag sa pagbasa ko nito.

Why oh why have I decided to read the second book? Oh, I know. That's because I want to give the author another chance to prove herself to me.

I can say this is a lot better than the first book, but still. It just didn't appeal to me. Maybe because the build up for the characters in the book started to bore me. *sighs* But of course, I'm still going to read the third book since I'm a masochist. If I managed to finish the Twilight saga and Fifty Shades of Grey, I can also survive this one. Right? I hope so.

Mostly corny, but funny. Plus I'm having serious problems with the typos. And multiple Twilight references? Sirius-ly? Anyway, to sum it up, if you're looking for some light, fun and I must admit, kilig read, then go read Diary ng Panget. This is actually supposed to be a gift to my cousin who loves reading Wattpad stories but anyway, I won't pass on books without reading it first so.. Lakas makabitin lang talaga e. *spoiler-ish alert* I am actually rooting for Chad. He and his funny antics might have to actually be the reasons why I went on reading. I think it is unfair to have him rooting for someone who does not love him back when he deserves all the love. (Can I just have him instead?) Although, I must say, though it is very predictable, the Cross and Eya pairing is also...interesting. Especially on the end part of this book.

Binasa ko sya ng Thursday ng gabi. Natapos ko ng friday morning (take note.. habang nasa work ko sya binasa, pasaway lang). Nanlumo ako ng malamang kong ang final entry ay... wala! at mababasa daw sya online! what the.. So I've decided na sa lunch break mag o- online ako. Tas What??? Brownout??!! :(
It's a really a kilig story for me. Really nice book to read. pam pawala nang stress sa life.

I like the first better but what the heck. I'm still hooked and in need of something light. This book is light and fun. Falling in love with characters is a bad thing when a story starts getting bad. Not that this book is bad. I just realized I might be blind to the bad parts that's all :D

Holy chicken sticks! Ano daw? Ano yun? Meron ba nun? Nahahawa na ko sa kaabonormalan ng mga sinasabi at pag-iisip ng mga tauhan!! *clap *clap happy ending na kung happy ending haha di na natapos ang mga sagabal sa pag-iibigan ng dalawang tauhan. Muntik na kong atakin ng aso sa puso whew.. Muntikan na kong maiyak, oo maiyak kakabasa sakit na ng mata ko eh, dalawang gabi na kong puyat haha ganda kasi eh! Buti nalang magaling magsulat ang author ng book, muntik na kong madismaya sa mga pasabog buti nalang nilalamon ulit ng lupa yung mga pasabog na yun at di na natuloy pa hahaha! pero It's a shame na ang daming nagenjoy sa pagkakasulat ng libro na ito, NAGENJOY kayo magbasa ng script? ano ba naman yan mga pari!

If you're a teenager, you'd be able to relate well. Perhaps the target reader/market that the author has established, rather unconsciously, was the teens. And since I'm not a teen anymore, I wasn't that pleased.

It's my personal bias, I guess, so pardon me for saying this but... I don't really like the way the protagonist thinks. Some of her thoughts are funny, some gross me out, some are just plain monologues. The way she insults herself and make fun of her personality and appearance...

Anyway, it's entertaining but failed to bring back the "kilig" factor I seem to have outgrown.

I suppose this would be the sequel to Diary ng Panget. Though, I think that it was just a continuation of the story, that it could be mashed up together. Again, as usual this is an easy read...the author had this quirky, hilarious one-liners and bickering between the protagonists. And again, I'm consistent in saying that my teenage self would've enjoyed it better. A great way to pass time and I guess I'll be reading part 3.

I saw the movie first, and loved it! I had to watch it subtitled though since I couldn't understand it some of the words. Glad to see a fellow Aussie Pinoy doing a great job in his first acting gig.. This book is mostly in Tagalog which I had a hard time to read, I understand Tagalog fluently but when you add a lot of tagolog slang in it- basically I needed to get used to it. It doesn't really read like how a book normally would, but nonetheless twas a pretty entertaining read..

The Sequel.. Is really amazing.. The story is typical and might be Cliche for others.. But the best point of the book is its approach that is closely related to reality.. Which most of us can relate.. The kilig moments.. The Cinderella approach.. It's what makes this book so special.. So I'm very excited ob the 3rd part of this book:)

Walang pinagbago sa unang part. Nakakaaliw parin si Eya at ang dami niya pa ring grammatical errors at misspelled words. Pero mas kaunti na kumpara nung una. Nakakabwisit lang yung ending, kung ending mang matatawag yun. Sa pdf ko lang kasi binasa tapos may kaekekan pang note si Denny. Nakakainis lang. Ayun. Kaya 3 stars. Dapat 2.5 lang nga e wala namang ganun sa goodreads.

Dito sa librong 'to, talagang natawa ako. Unlike sa first book, nabawasan ang grammatical errors. Hindi ko talaga binitawan etong book na ito hanggang hindi ko natatapos. Yung talagang pagkabiling-pagkabili ko nung umaga, buong tanghali kong binasa 'to. ^_^ Good job, HYSTG! :D
