"What if there was no way to determine if the thoughts in your head, were really your own? It's not your computer you need to worry about being hacked, it's your mind."

Jordan Callahan is a regular guy, who's always in the wrong place at the wrong time. Every moment in a crowd coils up with the anticipation that someone around him may die. It could be a tragic accident, or random act of violence. But there's a good chance death is coming, and there's nothing he can do about it.

Kayci Dewitt is running for her life, from the same clandestine government group for which she works and there's no place to hide. If there is any hope to survive this mind-war, she's going to have to unlock the ability that Jordan has been suppressing all his life.

When two people with similar frequencies get together, amazing things are possible. But it may be too late, for both of them.

Do you know your frequency? Could you protect yourself? This action-packed paranormal/thriller will make you rethink what you think you know, about everything around you.

Interesting, similar-Matrix feeling, book.

The premise is, as I said, interesting and the story is fast paced, but it felt choppy to me. The short sentences, very dry gave me the feeling that someting was missing.

It could have been a very good book and there were some really nice dialogues, but in whole I was missing that special something that makes a book really great.

The relationship between Jordan and Kayci could have been so good, but it was as best sketchy and I didn't get the impression that their love was all-encompassing as it should be... It was not bad, don't get me wrong, but it could have been developed better.

What a book! So many twists and turns. I really like Shane's books because they have strong female characters in them. Plus, there's always an element to his books which leaves you thinking, "this could really happen". Savior Frequency has a very interesting plot and you'll find it hard to put down!

This was a very good book. A very quick read. The characters will make you laugh and you will fall in love with them. I would love to tell you more but you should read it for yourself don't want to ruin it for you.

Can't wait until the second book of this one comes out.

I had a hard time with this one. It took me forever (about half the book) to figure out what was going on and who was on which side. Even once I got there, I didn't completely understand everyone's motives, reasons, and goals. Kayci's former team mates were a complete mystery and I wish I'd had more understanding of them. I just felt lost through most of the book - even the cat part didn't do much, and I love when cats are in books. This one just served to make me wonder what the heck the characters were thinking even more.

I really enjoyed the paranormal element of the story. The idea that the brain broadcasts frequencies, much like sound or radio waves, was a lot of fun to learn about. The story goes fairly in depth on how this works and it seems to be very well developed. If only I had gotten into the rest of the plot more, this would have been great. - See more at: http://www.bittenbyromance.com/2014/1...

Jordan has never lived a normal life. Wherever he goes, death seems to follow. In order to keep death at bay, he lives a solitary life with his cat Stormy. This all changes when a beautiful woman named Kayci enters his life. From that moment on, his life is filled with danger and one unexpected turn after the next.

Once I started reading this book, I literally could not put it down! It is exciting, unique, and wonderfully written! I cannot wait to read the second book in the Frequency Series!

A fast-paced (past about the 40% mark, anyway!), upbeat suspense novel. (This didn't strike me as a romance novel, although apparently several other people labeled it as such. It was a refreshing change of pace in what I've been reading lately and therefore perfect in its lack of bleghhh-mush. Of course, it therefore probably goes without saying that I wasn't terribly sold on the love connection between Kayci and Jordan, but as that didn't seem to be the focus of the book, it didn't really matter.)

Interesting concept. The first third of the book was a bit murky, but the last half flew by. That being said, the last 40% of the book was riddled with typos. Otherwise, the tone and banter was amusing and kept my attention. I would read the next book in the series if I could find it as a library book, but probably wouldn't spend money on it. May check back in the future.

Not my normal paranormal book, but so glad I read it.

Jordan is a great character. Responsible, pragmatic, funny, and pretty much as well put-together as he can be. The chemistry between Jordan and Kayci is also really good and carried throughout the story.

The ending threw me for a loop (in a good way). The story moves pretty quick and players come and go. There are bits of humor dispersed along the way, which is good because some of the stuff that happens can be sad.

Altogether, I liked the mix of mystery, action, romance, paranormal (psychic abilities), etc. The explanation of the 'savior frequency' was also well thought out and understandable.

This book was OK. It had some good characters, including a strong female lead. It just seemed like this book was sort of in pieces. The first half was sort of a mystery/thriller, then the last half was more sci-fi. All of the characters are psychics working for the government in a secret branch. Greed makes them turn on each other. All the while, there's a love story of a soon-to-be psychic developing his powers. Oh, and by the way, your powers increase when you sleep with another psychic on your "frequency". It was a little weird, kind of entertaining.
