Casualties: Excessive Victories: None Number of Times I Wanted to Smack Eren: 2 Number of Times I Questioned My Sexuality While Looking at Levi: 12 Wait Until Next Volume: Too long
Well this volume is full of action and speculation, and it's left me feeling murderous. Sometimes someone just needs to die a slow and painful death, and when that doesn't happen, emotions tend to run high. It's also possible that I'm hangry, but either way, I have unresolved issues, so it's on to Volume 8. Hopefully this particular character gets what they deserve, and soon.
I'm a mess of emotions. Somehow my favorite character's death hit me even harder in this format than it did in the anime. This manga series is so good, but it literally tears your heart into little pieces.
My only complaint is that the fighting is a little confusing in this volume, but I remember the anime well enough that it sort of helped me keep track of the fighting.
Ok, so about the female titan. I really think it's weird that they just jumped to It's weird how they come to that conclusion so quickly when it's not something that should seem normal. They accepted that paradigm shift way too easily.
I did not expect the Why now, when they've been through years of service without such huge problems? Why didn't the female titan appear sooner rather than exactly when Eren does? Some of this is so fishy (or just convenient.)

Levi Heicho : Its your choice Eren .Keep going or stop and fight . There is no right answer *Turmoil , glancing back* Squad : Believe in us ! Squad: Have faith eren ! Squad :Do you doubt us ? *more inner turmoil* Eren : I believe my squad will be victorious !
Squad : Dies like everyone in AOT
Oops guess he wont trust others anymore . Levi still looking indifferent despite HIS squad being KAPUT . Also : The Ackermans team up
I wish something went right at times, but this is a grim reversal of fortune indeed. Besides Shinji Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Eren seems to be one of the protagonist with least luck in his initiatives Anybody can make a choice after finding out the results.
What a rollercoaster after last volume and fortunately we get to see a bit more Mikasa, she is by far my favourite character (together with Levi), and actually delivers under pressure. The infiltration angle is very tantalising, but no answers are really given by Hajime Isayama
"the people capable of changing things, are the ones who can throw away everything dear to them when forced to face down monsters. they can even leave behind their humanity. someone who can't throw anything away... will never be able to change anything."
Some seriously hectic story developments, and legit jaw-dropping moments!
Ending took a bit away for me as it's pages of fight scenes with lots of scribbly dark action that is a lot of work to make sense of and, frankly, too much work for my lazy reading style.
