My name is Yanna Everleigh. I used to think asking for a courtship would be enough to keep gorgeous, sexy billionaires away - well, at least the kind who didn't do love at least. But I was wrong. If anything, it only made my billionaire realize I can hurt him, too, and now we're apart.
His name is Constantijin Kastein. He blows hot and cold, wanting me by his side all the time but never hesitating to walk away when I get too close to his heart. He makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time, wondering if the next best thing to love should be good enough for me. But he's also Netherlands' #1 playboy and I'm that one woman he's asked to moved in with him. I need to show him he doesn't need a cage to keep me his.
Maybe if I tell him first that I love him - maybe if I pretend that I don't see the coldness in his eyes when we talk about that word - pretend that I don't feel him putting distance between us when I ask for something he's not yet ready to give - maybe he'll finally realize that he doesn't have to seduce a woman who loves him. He just has to love her back.
After a point I was surprised by the turn of the events. There was so much pain and self destruction. The title doesn't make a lot of sense but I think I know what it means.Constantijin kinda had Yanna caged. He made me feel as if we was giving me cold and hot showers for almost the entire length of the book. The trilogy will get you hooked I promise you that. You must read it.
My Review is for all three books - I read as one book which is now available.
OK so some books are ok, or maybe good but I have to say in this case this book (or combined set of books) is really great. To be honest I can't stand the title of the book(s) and it certainly didn't draw me to wanting to read it but I am SOOOO glad I did.
I loved how the author portrayed her heroine, Yanna was so completely naive yet had a strong personality. Right from when she realised she was sitting the wrong side of the table I had connnected with her. Her love of the word 'like' really gets on your nerves after a while though, but I can't stand my kids saying it, so that was always going to wind me up.
Constantijin ,omg, what can you say about him, one minute I loved him and then my heart was pounding when he did what he did the first time, I wanted to slap him so hard and shout and scream at him for being such an idiot. But hey that's good when your into the characters and you have a response to their actions isn't it.
I loved the humour within the pages some of it is 'spit your coffee' out good and brings a smile to my face even now. Then in the next breath you find yourself horrified at what is about to happen and you feel your heart breaking for Yanna and very emotional.
I will definitely read this again at some point, yes it's not up there as a gripping suspense filled A/C romance but it's definitely up there as a fullfilling A/C billionaire romance.
Got to say this is the first book I've read with a Dutch alpha male and it completely works. And how many of you I wonder that read this book will look up the word 'Schat' at the end of reading this story.
So if you fancy having a cheesy grin on your face a few times, out loud laughter at some point, tense as to what Constantijin might do, then you should really enjoy this book too.
Oh My God! Oh My God! Oh My God! *shriek* Wanted: Netherlands'#1 playboy, 32 year old Constantijin Kastein! He ooooooozes with charisma, sex appeal and 100% alpha male and oh, with a Danish accent! *swoon*. He's got the hots for 24 year or virgin Yanna Everleigh who tries so hard to resist him. But all he has to say is her name.....“Yanna”....and she is wanton!
I was so glad when I started this series, all three books were available. It was a short, light read that just sizzled! I was hooked from the start!
Yanna tells constanjin that she loves him and he is cold to her. Then she overheard him tell her hated coworker that she's beautiful and when the girl asks him "Do you love Yanna?" He says no, it's not like that but that the coworker could make home change him mind, like she could be the one, as he flirts with her and Yanna overheard. This is almost the end of the trilogy. Wtf?!?! HEA a piece of shit! No way after he already cheated and slept with someone else would I forgive him again! Just no, yanna should have chosen Drake.

Marian has come up with the cutest idea for these stories. How Not To Be Seduced By Billionaires as a whole was entertaining and enjoyable, definitely worth the price. They are shorter stories but Marian makes it work because she gets everything you need within these pages. Courted begins off right after book 1, Chased, with Yanna back from her Vegas trip. This book is about the aftermath of Yanna's demand of Constantijin to enter into a relationship with her. I enjoyed this book because it was a great middle book giving you the growth of their relationship. Caged was the 3rd book ending the series which I didn't enjoy as much as the first two. Although Yanna had some great moments that made me laugh and cheer out loud for her, you get to see a tougher side of her for moments, but as a whole, Yanna crying the entire time left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. This book was the most emotional of the three, which makes sense why she crys so much but it was more depressing than anything. Yanna as a character has the most growth from the books, Constantijin I don't believe necessarily grows as a character but just gives in to what Yanna wants. You get to see how and why Constantijin is who he is along with some family background. I would have liked to see more change from him, but you can't take away a tiger's stripes. All in all I enjoyed the series and would recommend it to my followers and friends. Marian did a great job of adding lust, laughter and that moment where you just smile and sigh when it all comes to an end. Enjoy!
I don’t know how Marian did it, but she drew me into this trilogy without me even knowing it. I truly enjoyed this series. It was funny, sexy, and hot. I purchased the first installment when it was free back in February. I just started reading it April 1 and I was so eager to find out about Yanny and Constantijin that by Tuesday night I purchased ($6.00) and finished both copies that same night. That’s how much I enjoyed reading the story. Now, that’s not my usual M.O. I usually stalk the free copies list for novels but I couldn’t resist this story. I enjoyed Yanny’s humor and she is probably one of the few women I know that has great self-control. I mean, Constantijin put her in some hot situations but she stayed strong. I also fell in love with alpha male Constantijin. I liked that Marian portrayed him as a true playboy and didn’t change him to “boyfriend” material early in the story. You actually get a chance to see him grow into boyfriend material. Marian also included some different twist and turns that I haven’t read in other erotic-romance books. I will admit the last book “Caged” did leave me with a few questions I wish Marian had answered so maybe she may right another story about Yanny and Constantijin. But then again, the book does have some supporting characters that may need to find love.
I loved the lessons at the beginning of each chapter; it was like a little glimpse into the coming events. Constantijin is willing to do anything to get back to the place he once was with Yanna, but he knows that he needs to prove to her all over again. From all the heartache and suffering that Yanna has been thru I was shocked that she still lived in the apartment. For being a strong person, I thought she would slowly move her things back but being so in love with him, she just couldn’t do it. He gives her the time and space that she needs but still is it enough to win her back. Where was mom in all of this? I would have thought that she would be there in the office telling her son to grow a pair and get Yanna back before it really is too late. Mom knew when she first meet her that she was the one to tame her bed hopping son. Drake, the sexy bodyguard/ coworkers just tossing out his flirty sexy self out there. He still hasn’t stopping letting Yanna know that he is waiting and will be there for her. George is great in supporting her and finally tells her enough is enough. Make a decision and make it quick. Of course Constantijin and Yanna get back together in the end. I just wish we got to see more of their future but that’s just being greedy on my part.
Great third book! This book sounds like the perfect ending to the series, but part of me wishes that there will be more books to continue with Constantijin and Yanna's relationship.
The title says it all. This book is the next big step in Constantijin and Yanna's relationship. After everything goes to hell yet again, they drift apart to the point they aren't even sleeping together anymore.
Both suffering from heartache, Yanna finds her Mr. Fix it around a lot more than usual. He's always flirting with her and trying to help her overcome what has become of her relationship with Constantijin.
After hurtful words are exchanged, the two become so estranged that they almost never look at each other.
When Constantijin comes to his senses he finally realizes that he is in love with Yanna. Telling her so makes her feel caged but she tells him that she needs time.
In the end everything works out for the best for everyone. But are Constantijin and Yanna back together? Read the third book of the How to Not be Seduced by a Billionaire series to find out.
Read all three books in one sitting, so this review is for all three~
When I say that I read all three in one sitting, what I actually did is devoured it~
I love the character's dialogue...those funny lines, those sexy and funny lines but gawd some lines are too hot even for me lol, I would love to quote some lines but I'm afraid they'll leave me and you blushing.
All in all , I can honestly say that I enjoyed it , and will be reading it again in the near future when I feel like reading a funny and smexy book.
I just finished it and it was sooooo sweet.. I love it.. I awaited for the series since i read an excerpt from the author.. Cute, sweet and of course hot, Marian Tee delivers the finale of How Not to be Seduced by Billionaires: Caged.. Prepare to be swoon by hot male and sweet girly issues because they both have to learn to trust and learn to let go and give in.. to temptations and wicked nights..
The series wasn't perfect, but it was entertaining. A little like the This Man series (which I love), but in same ways it was refreshing for the genre (the hero is from the Netherlands and the heroine's job is really cool).
There were a few moments where I rolled my eyes (whenever she gave a presentation it was very high-schoolish and the "likes" got outta hand in a non-cutsie way), but mostly I just loved what was happening in the book.
At some points I wondered if the author was an intelligent teenager, but the 90s references contradicted that.
Like I said, the book wasn't perfect, but I was entertained and that's all that really matters to me. I'll definitely be reading more of this author.
This entire series, in general, is a quick read. It seems like I breezed through all 3 books in one sitting.
I feel like this final installment has a more serious tone to it. Now that Constatijin's and Yanna's relationship has progressed to an even more serious level, Constatijin's hidden issues emerge. I developed a better understanding of how his past has shaped the way he is; there is definitely more to his alpha male persona.
My one issue with the series is that we didn't get meet Yanna's parents. They've been integral in shaping Yanna's beliefs, and it seems they are still important in Yanna's life, but we never got to know them at all.
All in all, this series was interesting, enjoyable...and oohlala sexy.
I do believe this is my favorite part of the series because I do love a good grovel.
Constantijin does a major no-no and realizes there are lasting consequences for all actions and Yanna doesn't let him get away with it. I love this series but I always felt Yanna was a little too lenient with Constantijin's behavior and actions, but in this book she finally lets it all out. Poor Constantijin didn't know what to do, especially with Drake waiting in the wings for his chance with Yanna. Yanna cried a bit too much in this book for me personally.
I love a good grovel and this book didn't disappoint ;)
This was a great ending, the whole series was amazing! I read the series in less than 24 hours, I stayed up almost all night to finish this series. I did have an issue with Constantijin though. I kinda feel that Constantijin should done a grand gesture for forgiveness, something to prove he really meant what he said. He had said a lot of things to try to get Yanna to forgive him but Constantijin didn't really do anything to show all the things he set out to do. All in all I liked the story and how it ended. I wish there were more to read about Constantijin and Yanna. I can't wait to read about the next Pussketers. Oh by the way, Schat means "treasure"...I looked it up on Google.
i've just finished How Not To Be Seduced by Billionaire series and i could really see the writing has improved from the last book i read 'Drawn'! Especially the pace of the story. I love that Marian (The Author) keeps inserting her loves toward Japanese culture in it. Through this series i'm convinced she has growing potentials to be one of the it indie writer. She's one to watch for! I'm definitely will always be looking forward to read her book!
OMG!!!! Is that it? I want more of them..... There are still so many in answered questions. Like what will happen to drake? Will Yanna and Constantijin get married? What does "schat" mean? Will Yanna has a child with Constantijin? Well I guess I'm just going to have to settle with my imagination on this one. Anyway FANTASTIC series got me addicted!!!!
