Tears. Tears. And more tears. Oh my god, I'm staying up late just to finish this. It's 3:30am and I needed to finish this book. And it broke me! Just... I can't even. I lost my ability to even.
While reading this book, get ready for a lot of important stuff happening. Snow's mother, the Unknown and their plan to destroy Sharra... You'll be mind blown.
And now, if you let me, I'll crawl to a corner and die. I'll resuscitate a few hours later just to finish the series.
I was kinda upset after reading books 9 & 10, I thought they were drawn out which was really upsetting because so far I've loved the rest of the books. So when I noticed book #11 Resolved to Rule out I was a bit hesitant but I didn't have anything to worry about, it was back to the same story I've been enjoying so far. I love the way there are so many twists n turns. I do think the book ended a little abruptly but I guess thats to get you ready for the final book #12, which I don't want the story to end but I really want to finally know what happens with Snow White. They only little warning with book #11 is something unexpected happens and is very sad. Other than that no spoiling the story for anyone... Go Read Them. I know you'll love them as much as I did!!!
The story takes a huge twist in this story with Snow White meeting her mother after thinking she was dead for almost 13 years. They meet in a city that is commonly known as Atlantis, but learn that being there is part of a bigger plan. Snow is not only wanted by the Vampire Queen, but also by the elves. Snow comes to the conclusion that the longer a being lives, the more evil and power hungry they get. She must decide how she will destroy the Vampire Queen because her death will lead to a power struggle she hadn't considered would occur among the magical beings. This book has a rather shocking ending, but quite fitting.
I really love this series! If I have any complaint it's that these novellas are too short! But that's pretty much the definition of a novella isn't it? I'm excited to dive into the last one in the series but it seems that there is so much that can still happen and I'm afraid it's all going to be cut short! Love love this series!
We learn more about Snow's mother and the relation to Devoran. The ending of this one was a swirl of events and confusion and a heroic gesture from Dorian that left me appreciating him a lot more. But...he still isn't Gabe. :(
MIND. BLOWN. So good, so good, so GOOD!!! This is my favorite book so far. It went so fast and I wanted it to keep going. There was so much drama at the end and I couldn't flip my pages fast enough! I'm starting the last installment now!
(Source: I own a copy of this book.) This was another okay instalment, although I got really sick of the info dumping. For such a short book there was a heck of a lot of information in there and it bored me. I’m actually kind of glad that I’ve only got 1 more book to go. 5 out of 10.
So I’m going to review this entire set all together because really each installment was just too short to stop and write a review. I don’t think I would’ve made it all the way through if I had done that. That being said, I enjoyed this series for it’s straightforwardness. There were times that Snow went back and forth between men, but I think it was always pretty clear that her true love was going to be Dorian. I picked up on it by the time I hit Revenant in Training. So much happens in the series, but I will say that there was great character building especially for everything being set up in such short novellas. For being so many installments it was a surprisingly quick read, and I did enjoy reading them. I would recommend just buying the complete set instead of buying each one individually especially because it was obnoxious having to keep moving to the next one. I just wanted to be able flip the page! Overall, I would give the series 3 stars. It wasn’t spectacularly amazing, but it was a good quick read that I did enjoy overall despite it being a bit juvenile.
In this Volume we get to learn more about Snows mom. What happened to her, why she's been gone all these years. Snow was mad. She thought her mom was dead only to learn that she's okay and being used as bait to get Snow there.
I didn't know how to feel about her mom. She wasn't hugging and welcoming Snow when she first got there. She seemed serious. And acted like she was talking to a stranger and didn't act like someone who hasn't seen her daughter in thirteen years.
Then things started happening. Something happened and I was like noooo Pourquoi Pourquoi it was sad. There's an Evil guy that just has to go, he has to go. Cus no-one messes with Snow mkay.
and now the writing has regressed yet again... -i decided to read these because i needed to get in 20+ books before the end of the year, and thought they'd be a breeze...read a couple each day, no probs...boy was i wrong! the amount of errors is OVERWHELMING, and i am totally ocd when it comes to grammar, so it is taking FOREVER to correct everything!
there was a lot more action in this box I suppose but there was a lot of nothing as well.
Spoiler alert Dorian - seen that coming to some degree Didn't think Devorion would be her grandfather though Her mum being alive - seen that coming Atlantis - didn't see that coming but again bit of a nothing part of the story in the end Still don't like Cindy and have together Sharra and Christopher at the start was unexpected
It's different for everyone I'm sure. Still really enjoying this series. Onto 12 I go :)
This was THE best novella in the series so far. So much happened. Those I'm still curious about the stepmom, she's obviously an evil witch of some sort... Evil elf? In place to keep snow real mom and dad apart. I'm also wondering if maybe the dad knows more than he's letting on? The ending broke my heart. Dorian can't be dead.....
I almost cried at the ending. Dorian is so sweet! I cant believe there's only gonna be one more book I have no idea how its all gonna end so soon it seems like there's a long journey ahead so I'm definitely anxious to see how it will end! cant wait for book 12!
I'm giving this a 4 because it has the most action and tons of info. It is both wonderful and tragic. My fave if all the installments. It ends abruptly but that's just more incentive to finish it off. Also lots of really strange this happen.
Snow, Cindy, Gabe and Dorian are taken to Atlantis and Find Snow's mother who is an elf. They are captured by the Elf king who wants to use Snow's powers for himself. And basically the whole world would have ended if not for Dorian.
