I love all of the recipes in this book, especially from all the different places and how they categorized all the different types of food. They have food like Fish, bread, desserts, cookies, meats, and many others. Would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys cooking.

I bought this book for one dollar at a garage sale, and it rapidly became my favorite cookbook, especially for deserts. It has all kinds of fascinating ideas for making baked goods healthy. I tend to substitute white whole wheat for whole wheat pastry flour, but that a recent addition to the pantry. I never blindly recipes, however I have probably a hundred cookbooks. I love reading about interesting food combinations and techniques

This is an excellent cook book. In 1972, the NTTimes sent people across the U.S. to see what people were eating regionally. The best recipes were selected for inclusion in this cookbook. There are some really great recipes. I've used it several times and my dishes seem to be a big hit with everyone. I got my book thru www.abebooks.com.
