Colt has also returned, made to face the consequences of his betrayal. He tries to earn forgiveness from the clans, but first he must learn to forgive himself and let go of his regrets. Daniel is caught in the middle, having lost Callon's guidance and his trust in Colt. He wants to side with the others and condemn Cheyenne's choice, but part of him also wants to believe, too.

On the other side, Marcus and Raina reflect on the past, and what the future may hold for their respective clans. Dark secrets are unveiled, but who knows what the final battle will bring.

A re-read in my mission to complete the Timeless series. I didn't remember much about this novella that takes Cheyenne's story and shows the background from Colt, Callon and Daniel's POV. There was quite a lot of new material that didn't feel repetitive, so it was good to get that extra insight. Definitely worth reading along the way in this series.

Book Review- Fated Part 1 by Lisa L. Wiedmeier and Sam Dogra

This novella sets the stage for the Timeless series. Callon and his brothers are recruited to protect a girl who is timeless but has not gone through her transformation yet. She has no clue and has been off the grid living with her adoptive parents. She is a mystery as something else is going on but Callon isn’t sure what. Callon and his brother Daniel keep an eye on Cheyenne from a distance, as Colt befriends her at school.
The villain searching for her is Marcus. He continues to send scouts searching for the timeless. Callon and his brothers have to deal with each scout sent to their area. Eventually Marcus will come for himself, so Cheyenne needs to be moved. The plan is to go to Ireland.
The author hints at some family drama that has stopped Callon from returning to Ireland. There is also hints that Callon and Cheyenne are meant for more. There are several situations were the brothers have to protect Cheyenne without her knowledge of what is happening. There are secrets aplenty and you have no idea what they are. There is just enough to speculate but not enough to get definite answers. It will be interesting to see where the author takes it. I see some sibling rivalries popping up.
You don’t see much of Cheyenne in this book. You are just introduced to her and get the sense she is pretty important. So the next book should really dig into her story, hopefully. This one seems to whet the appetite just enough to drive the desire to read more. I give it a 4 out of 5.

The writing was clear and easy to follow, but I had some serious issues with this story. ALL of the characters (three males) sound exactly alike. It was very hard to distinguish one from another, in fact, unless you paid attention to the chapter subtitles (which told you which chapter belonged to which character.. thank GOD for those), you couldn't tell at all who was speaking in most of the chapters, or what gender they were (until they started fawning over the girl). I got all the way to the second chapter before I realized the person speaking was male! There was also a lack of detail in the surroundings and even what the characters looked like, leading to quite a bit of "floating head syndrome". We saw very little of the female main character (and never from her perspective), so it was very hard to relate to her at all... she was just some girl in the background all the guys were gaga over.. but I couldn't get a good sense of who she was. Plot was good, world-building was good, but the writing to put it all together lacked. And though I won't spoil it, I was extremely disappointed with the ending.

Fated a Timeless Series Novella
By Lisa L. Wiedmeier & Sam Dogra

This novella is has come after the first two books but fills in giving us the glimpse of how Callon, Colt, and Daniel become involved in protecting Cheyenne. The story opens up with Callon getting the request to protect the soon to be timeless from being killed before she turns. It is during the early part of their protection that Callon discovers that she may be the woman he is bound to wed. We also find that Colt is slowly falling in love with her. The writer suggests reading this after reading Cheyenne as it is from the perspective of the brothers but if read before it wouldn’t hurt the stories at all. As with the other two books it is well written and I had a hard time putting it down. I can’t recommend it enough for those that love the Timeless stories as much as I do.

Fated, A Timeless Series Novel by Lisa L. Wiedmeier is a supplement to the previous two books. In "Cheyenne" and " Promises" we learnead Cheyenne`s story. Fated describes the whole story through the eyes of Callon, Colt and Daniel. They describe facts that Cheyenne did not know. After reading "Fated"the Timeless Series Novels take deeper sense.

This book is pretty much a retelling of Cheyenne, but from a different view. It was so good to hear what the men were thinking and doing! It showed a totally different side to the characters! It made somethings make so much sense! And there were very much some big surprises too! I really recommend reading this after reading Cheyenne!

Very cool insight to other characters

I was reluctant to buy this book since I felt the story was complete in the last book, but I'm glad I did. It was intriguing to look at the other characters' perspectives! I definitely have to finish the series now.

And I finished reading this book exactly at midnight on New Year's Eve, how perfect!

A good companion book to Cheyenne. It made me forgive the secrets and lies a little bit more now that I can see things from another angle. I heart Callon way more than before and understand all the boys much better.
