About the author

Akimine Kamijyo (上条明峰 Kamijō Akimine?, born September 13, 1975, Kanagawa Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist best known for creating Samurai Deeper Kyo. The name 'Akimine Kamijyo' is merely her pen-name. Her doujinshi work was done under the name 'Meika Hatagashira' (伯明華?).

Her second series was Shirogane no Karasu also known as Silver Crow. It started on May 30, 2007 in Weekly Shōnen Magazine and ended after 3 volumes.

She is currently working on Code: Breaker.

Overall Rating: ... 6/10 - I always forget that I've read this... No seriously. I always forget. So this isn't a bad series. The arcs were kinda messy, and I would say every villain of each arc pointed the finger towards the next one. Explaining certain characters especially Sakura took way too long.. Her's as well as the whole plot of the series and the founders was at the end, literally at the end. I just wanted it to be over... The only thing I liked at the end was the ending itself. It was a quiet happy ending, not a fairy tale like ending. I believe the manga and the series took different paths at some point.

I do feel like the plot is repetitive. Rei follows Sakura, she pesters him about being a Code:Breaker, he says some cryptic stuff and then goes on a mission, she follows him, he goes to kill someone, and she stops him. Through in a few new characters here and there and that's about it. But I have to admit that I'm still having fun

Sakura est enlevée et ligotée comme un saucisson. On lui fait croire que « Petit chien » aka « Koinu » est attaché à une bombe. Mais en fait « petit chien » ne meurt pas. C’est le méchant Code Breaker, « Toki », qui est derrière tout ça. Il est bien heureux de son passe-droit… Mais cela ne suffit pas contre Rei Ôgami, qui a pris Sakura sous sa protection. Car son pouvoir l’intrigue un peu. Il veut la comprendre et en pince sans doute un peu pour elle.

Cela dit, après avoir neutralisé Toki, Rei semble atteint d’une mystérieuse fièvre.

Une nouvelle perso fait son apparition « Haruto » et tue tout le monde dans son sillage, sauf Rei apparemment (99.99%). Anecdote, elle a des bagues sur les dents. Avec son look punk et gothique.

La fameuse punch line « soit consumé dans les flammes » mais est-ce que ça va marcher ?

Sakura est immunisée aux pouvoirs des « Code Breaker » dieu sait pourquoi…

« L’ordure qui a renoncé à son humanité a-t-il encore une raison de vivre ? »

C’est la loi du talion !

Les "Code Breaker" sont un groupe d'une dizaine de personnes au-dessus des lois. Sakura les intrigue, car elle semble avoir comme un bouclier contre leurs pouvoirs. L'un d'eux en particulier s'entiche d'elle, c'est Rei Ôgami.
