Even better the second time. This despite Talbot throwing way too much shade on my native city - Philly. That being said, gotta admit it was hilarious.

Narrator Sean Runnette's performance could not have been better. One of my favorites to date.

CW: all of them

Book 7 of my zombie-a-thon!

Well sadly this is where the Talbots and I part ways, but it was my favourite one yet!

There are quite a few more books in this series but this feels like a good place to end for me. I honestly would probably keep going but only book 1-6 are included in my audio subscription so I would have to pay for the rest and I need to save my credits for ones that I can actually talk about to high schools students in my job. I will miss these characters and their strong sense of family and doing the right thing in the face of evil.

Well done, Mark, well done.

I can honestly say that Mark Tufo is now in my short list of "favorite authors"
He writes a little like a young Koontz with the no holding back gruesomeness of Stephen King. Like Stephen King he has the way of using several pages to describe somebody perhaps trying desperately to make it up 3 or 4 steps whilst they are on deaths door - Some don't like this kind of thing. But I appreciate an author that can do this and keep me interested

Like the Dark Tower series by Stephen King he isn't afraid of releasing a part to a series and leaving it so open that you are absolutely high and dry; trying to break into his house - trying to claw your way desperately through his door and begging him to write more. A door of which I guess has many locks on the inside.

"We wanna know dammit!!" < Zombie Fallout 5 ended like that. I was like. What? It was the audio book version and I no idea that it was coming to the end. Hmmm did Audible screw up my download? NO THEY DIDNT!! Grrr. The wait is excruciating. More good signs that this writer is good.

Its hard to keep reviewing a series. With this particular set of novels its not that they get better and better, its more so that they do not get worse. The standard is gold throughout. I was unsure at the start just how much I liked it. But the characters do grow and grow on you, and you start to care about them. You better do after 6 novels! Or perhaps care is the wrong word to describe Mrs Deneaux ?

Mike Talbot; the main character in the series - the characterization is spot on. He is so crazy, insane and also sane of a character that he will drive you crazy whilst reading. You will love him and you will want him to succeed. He will have you laughing your asses off one moment and then devastated along with him the next. You get that feeling a lot of this character comes directly from the author.

I started reading the Zombie Fallout series just after the release of ZF5 and was highly skeptical of reading a "Zombie Book". This comes after reading The Walking Dead comics in entirety (at the time up to issue 94) and at the wake of completing World War Z and The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks. In my head, there was a lot to live up to. As part of my skepticism, I downloaded the free sample before buying to see how the writing was. I can say with all honesty, I was hooked. I have never been so intrigued by a book as this. I read the entire series back to back and had to wait months for the release of ZF6. This epic saga encompasses everything you would expect from a zombie story... and then some. Its a legacy that spans generations (readers of ZF 3.5 know what I mean). The only thing I dislike about this series is that it officially ended the main plot. Not that its a bad thing, its just now there isn't anything else to read of this story line. I feel like a drug abuser who has run out of drugs and fiending for more. I can honestly say that I'd love to see this on the big screen... maybe as a series of films reliving the story in animation. Mark, I give you major kudos on your accomplishments and many thanks for such a great story. As always, Semper Fi.

Tufo did it again! The "possibly" final book was amazing! Had a few twists you don't expect and kept you reading, wanting to know what was going to happen next to the Talbott clan and their friends! I laughed and i cried. I highly recommend all of Mark Tufo's books. This winter you should cuddle up by the fire with a blanket and a cup of tea and read read read his books!

Yes! Yes! Awesomely Yes! From start to finish this books was amazing! The series isn't finished yet (I hope) but one chapter seems to be closed. There is so many things that Mark Tufo has gotten right in this one once more.

If you have been following the series (which I am guessing if you are looking at this review you have been) then you would probably have been slightly disappointed by book 5. Thank the powers that be the book has got back on track in book 6. The book is teeming with action and (unlike the precious book) does not have meaningless flashbacks. Mark Tufo seems to have been listening to my silent prayers after I finished book 5 and ramped up the action in every aspect.

To prevent myself from giving any away I will stop raving about the book. I am extremely thankful that the book has answered so many unanswered questions and have rejected the inclination to end on too big of a cliff hanger although I must say I was gripped up until the last sentence.

I CAN'T SAY TOO MUCH ABOUT THIS ONE WITHOUT GIVING STUFF AWAY. I WILL TELL YOU IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITES SO FAR. AND I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE NEW CHARACTER, JOHN THE TRIPPER! HE HAD ME IN STITCHES. I HOPE IN THE LAST BOOK WE GET TO SEE HIM AGAIN.

I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK. HMMMM, LIKE I SAID I CAN'T SAY ANYTHING UNLESS I GIVE TOO MUCH AWAY. I CAN SAY THE VERY END WAS A SHOCK. I CAN ONLY IMAGINE HOW MIKE MUST FEEL AFTER FINDING OUT.

NOW IT'S ON TO THE LAST ONE! ANOTHER RACE AGAINST TIME IS COMING.

AWESOME SERIES. I WILL MISS IT BUT HAVE THEM TO READ AGAIN!

Loved it! I knew it was going to be great! I wasn't very happy with the last one in the series but i remained patient because I knew Mark was working his way into a another great book! Can we expect Zombie Fallout 7?? Don't leave us hanging like this! Please bring John the Tripper back!! He was a freakin awesome character and I loved the dialogue between him and Mike, it was so hilarious! I highly recommend this book to fans of the Zombie Fallout series, you won't be disappointed...

An epic ending to an epic journey. The final installment of a wonderful series following Mike Talbot. The reader follows Mike after he revives for a fatal experience with fire. Eliza has finally meet the end of her wicked tyranny by pure luck. I must admit I was greatly sadden that their will not be another book in the series. I recommend this series who loves to read zombie books.

Another great book. This is fast becoming my favorite horror series of all time. The Necroscope series has had that title forever and this one is threatening to take the crown. The battle between Elsa and Michael Talbot comes to an end. A great novel with one of my favorite characters of the series--John the tripper.

Can someone please explain to me what the point of that very last entry 'The Kiss' was about because it seemed like jibberish to me and it was hard to read.

Well, this one certainly ended with a nice twist. Just when I thought I was out they pull me back in…. This was another great book in the series, wrapping up the Eliza ark about as expected. The book leaves just enough loose ends with some main characters that makes me want to continue.

Hold on tight the action is back again! After last book's slow down this one picks back up like a runaway locomotive. I never trusted Ms. Deneaux and I was right to pick up on that. That's all I'll say about that right now. Fast paces excellent story and great performance as always.

Till Death Do Us Part – But Why Wait?

Till Death Do Us Part is the sixth edition of Zombie Fallout by Mark Tufo and it is still entertaining. But things start to break apart when a character is introduced just as a vehicle to the end.

No, I’m not going to spoil the work for you. What I will do is discuss things that really are bad when it comes to creating a series of books. The big thing is bringing in a character to get you past a hurdle. Most characters are either throw away with no real background or keepers with extensive character development. Here we have a throw away with back story and development.

The character added dimension to the story, but it also brought up a lot of back story to go through. Sometimes backstory isn’t that bad, but other times it can drag a read. And with extensive back story comes the idea a character will be with us for a while. No baby and bath water out the window!

And that is the big problem. Not that we have divested interest in a character who dies after a long time reading about them, but hearing about a character who develops and disappears before their time. And no, the character is not female.

For the most part, I really do enjoy the interplay Mark has done with the characters. The use of wit and placement makes the work fun to read. The only issue is with the way things appear to unravel, and the lack of research that is done at times.

Final Word?
Till Death Do Us Part (Zombie Fallout VI) is a focus on one thing, revenge. It isn’t until the end of the work that you find out the focus of why, and it really doesn’t make much sense, but who am I to judge. People fixate on things and will fight it out. And it does not matter who they are, or if they are alive or dead. And it leads us to the basic thing you should know, you’ll feel cheated in this book. The climax to the novel leaves me shaking my head. Mark must have ran out of ideas for this story line and needed to run to another for the series to keep it alive.

Series rating is still a solid 3.5, but this one book drops to 2.5 for the above reasons.

This is another excellent installment in the Michael Talbot adventure known as Zombie Fallout. (Number 6) I was so excited when I stumbled upon the release just a day after it hit the 'shelves' so to speak - I actually bought a version to read on my Nook. For some reason, I thought it wasn't due out for a bit, so I did a little happy jig when I found it. (That should tell you a lot about how I feel for this book/series & author!)
This whole series is an edge of your seat, laugh a lot, & maybe cry a little, ass-kicking ADVENTURE! If you've read the other 5, you HAVE to read this one! Some answers come, and others are left for what must be at least one more installment...
That is my only negative - I thought this book was the long-awaited conclusion of the series. It's not over yet folks! I was happily reading along and then getting pretty anxious when I realized there were only 20 pages left to read. I thought "there's no way this can end in just 20 more pages!". Thankfully, I was relieved to see it wasn't over and he wasn't ending the book abruptly. (Nobody likes those books where you are all into the story that builds & builds only to have it end suddenly, like the author got bored or something!) I was glad that Mr Tufo did not end abruptly (he's too good for that) AND I was glad that there is still more to come, because let's face it - I am addicted to Michael Talbot.
I am thinking that he must be about to finish this series soon though, as I can't imagine more than one more book. So, savor this one and get ready for what comes next. I know we can count on Mark Tufo and the smartass Talbot to keep us engaged!

Well what can I say mark Tufo smashes another hit from his zombie fallout series, the battles the scares the zombie horror action tear jerking magic. Tufo has developed his characters so intimately that the readers no each one so well I almost feel like they are real. Tufo had opened the adventure up and created a series of art this is hands down the greatest zombie apocalypse action horror series I've ever read and as you can see I've read a lot of zombie fiction. The wit and sarcasm the lead character Mike Talbot displays throughout the series makes him the most likeable hero. ZF6 had 2 x new characters which where both vital parts of the story and John the Tripper is already my second favourite character of the series. I'm not going to give any spoilers away, but if you have not read this series or are a little sceptical about zombie fiction all I will say is give it a go one of my friends who was not a fan of zombies is addicted to these books and can't put them down as will you when you buy your copy!

Well done mark I will stalk you for ever as you didn't give me a mention in ZF6 I will haunt your dreams from now on!!!! ( please don't ban me from twitter or Facebook) cheers for the joy fright and terror.

The series started out nicely, and ended disastrously. I get that the hero is an exaggerated misogynistic ego-man, but at some point it stopped being just the character and started being the entire book, and that got tiring pretty quickly.

Until book 4 I recommended the series. Book 5 was slightly over the top, and book 6 was just a total bust, plot wise and over-the-top misogynistic anti-female men-do-everything-so-much-better shove-it-in-your-face crap. Even the antagonist just... crumpled. The only somewhat non-weak (forget about strong) women were either victims (who had to have the men help them enact revenge) or a lesbian, who ended up dying in an idiotic preventable event.

I don't really write reviews that much, and when I read books, I don't often concentrate on whether a book is "feminist" or not -- but in this case, it was just really *REALLY* hard to ignore, especially by book 6, which I seriously had to force myself to finish, and then almost tossed the book out the window.

It ruined the entire series.

I might be alone in this but I cannot stand Eliza she is beyond boring!!! I loved back in the day of surviving zombie attacks of Michael and his family and the fantastically interesting Tommy NOT Tomas (the vacant). I do however love Trip as an addition it is a great outlet for Michael's funny sarcastic fears and bantar. I miss BT and Michael together that was 90% of what I liked about the books. These books started straight forward zombie books (which I love) to confusing yet boring LONNGGGG conversations between Tomas and Eliza. I mean she can't do anything really other than talking about how she has no emotions. Everytime I got to "Mike journal entry..." It was a sigh of relief bc I love this part of the story. Yet I am concerned that it doesn't seem to be the biggest priority to let Mike's family know something SUPER important. I loved the early books in this series not so sure I'm still loving this series.....WHY IS MRS. Deneaux still alive?!?! And someone get her a nicotine patch GAH!

I am writing this here as a recommendation more than a review and one for the whole Zombie Fallout series . I got book #2 not knowing it was #2 in a series . Sooo I got book one and read it first . Great stuff !
I read all 6 books as soon as I could get my hands on them ;-)

I just got the new #7 book in the series today for my NEW KINDLE ... times are tough and the kindle editions are cheaper to buy . I can also keep tons of books on it and get new ones in seconds ...

I met Mark and his wife today at a bookstore and got my copy of Dr. Hue Mann signed and spoke with them for a while nice people , real down to earth folks.

I never read a series before and this series is worth my time & money . I enjoyed each and every book . If you like to read and like zombies / wit / humor / irony / action & adventure ... read them !

This is more than Zombies. It's a story of the Talbot family and their struggle to stay ahead of what is trying to destroy them. Hoping that Mark Tufo won't let this saga fade away. Hoping he continues the saga with ZF7.

I loved this! You get more background on everyone and get to see them all grow and learn to survive in such hostile circumstances. The Talbots may be a bit crazy, but they are what family is all about.

Praise Jesus, I am really looking forward to the next book, since this storyline seems to have finally come to a close. I really enjoyed this book. John the Tripper was a really fun addition to the character list. There were some twists and turns to keep it interesting and how about that ending???
