A great series for young readers, The mysteries are getting bigger as are the adventures, I would strongly recommend starting with book one and reading them in order or I think it would be easy to get lost. This was a Good Read

Another great installment of this series. The kids go back to Droon to continue battling Lord Sparr with Keeah, Galen, and many other returning characters as they search for Max, who has been kidnapped by the Ruby Red Orb of Doobesh.

It was nice to have past characters come back, but i feel like they were all brought back because there wasn’t enough plot. They were used to fill space and maybe make a joke here or there. There was literally a random disagreement throughout the book whether the Jaffa wind is a ship or a boat

- Eric getting visions
- Everyone wants to see the Queen
- Max is shrunk and sucked into the orb
- Galen is upset
- This history in droon (his chronicles) may help figure out the orb
- Khan joins the adventure because he can sniff out danger
- Ruby orb has a sapphire twin. Shago’s old enemy once stole it
- Sneak into queen bazra’s fortress. Reminds me of over the hedge
- Run into ninns. They let the kids go. They take a big hammer
- Long ship ride
- Eric keeps seeing visions of Max
- Attacked by see through pirates. Use khan’s juice because it stains
- Eric fell in the water
- Saw max making a clown for sparr
- Giant has the star
- Tried to get back star. Giant thinks they are sparr with his cloak. Eric used a spell to make Julie sound like him
- Galen didn’t actually destroy goll. Just locked it up. And the hammer will open it
- Powers are dwindling in goll while sparr’s is getting stronger
- Cloak burst into flames. Max snuck something in it
- Galen jumped into goll and the doors closed. Is he trapped there for a while now??
- Galen wants everyone to find the moon scroll
- Copy of galen. This is giving Santa Cause 2 vibes… i don’t like where this could go

I've decided to read The Secrets of Droon series entirely for Christmas since i've been feeling a bit nostalgic. I want to be able to live a bit of the magic of being a kid and what beeter to help than this incredible series. I know that this series is for young kids but i feel it will still be great to read and live the excitement.
An exciting adventure is this book with all its action and suspense. The gang travels all over Droon and we see new places as well as old. Not to mention the big cast of characters that are a part of this adventure. We find out more answers to the mysteries. This is a big, exciting, and wonderful book.

Abbott's nod to Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Voyage of the Jaffa Wind contains more action and more time spent in the alternate world of Droon than any of the previous books. You could also liken it to the Odyssey, if you wanted to be grandiose about it. Practically every chapter involves a different location, as the characters set out to rescue the spider troll Max from captivity...but they don't know where he is, why he was taken, or even who has taken him. So they must travel the seas of Droon in their quest to discover what has happened.

In this installment, max is kidnapped. The obvious thought is by Lord Sparr. The red ball of doobesh absorbs max and then blue eye is found to find where the red eye went.

Lord Sparr intends to get all the secrets from goll with help from khaloof. Galen and the others try to keep him away from it.

The conclusion is not clear yet. Even though lord sparr s plan is stopped for the time being, he still proceeds in a nearby direction

when max is trapped into the ruby orb which is a evil charm eric,keeah,neal ,julie and galen are desperate to find max but first they have to find the good twin the sapphire star to lead them where max is.
