Idara has spent her life avoiding confrontation, entanglements and living for herself. When a work-related incident ends her life, a handsome dark elf is there to catch her and whisk her into a new one. Joining the Nameless is strange enough but finding out that the Orb of Time has a special assignment for her to mess with destiny, changes her from one of the guardians of time and into a prisoner.
Harken felt her life resonating with his the moment that he restarted her breathing. Trailing after the shy Terran takes his normal duties from normal to ridiculous, and he couldn’t be happier.
Another Terran joins the Nameless and she's tasked with actually helping people avoid death. So naturally she's also been confined into the tower away from the other Nameless. I'm seeing a theme here... ;)
The story was good with a dark elf that is Nameless and a Terran relationship. The title of the book had something to do on what role the characters have to do as a Time Keeper. As the first Terran's work is to avenge and her body is mostly being taken over by the Orb of Time she was free while the other two that precedes her were all thrown in the tower. A little unfair as that is how the Time wants them to do and they had little say in the matter. Still, it was a good quick read.
