HAVE A NICE DEITY!

Love (in the form of Tsukamoto Tenma) betrayed Harima Kenji, but he has moved on in an effort to find himself. He’s become a fortune teller who can communicate with animals. Some even mistake him for a helpful deity who watches over a local shrine. What happens to a young man who gets lost on his journey of self-discovery?

Meanwhile, Tenma and her friends embark on a trip of their own. They go to the beach for sun, sand, and surf–and meet four guys with less-than-noble intentions.

Plus, Rumble fans can look forward to a brand-new character!

This was the best volume so far!! This is what I was expecting to read when I picked up the first volume! It never gave me any hardy laughs, but that’s okay since it had me consistently giggling throughout the entire book instead. Volumes of other series have been able to do both of these, but I’m happy that it seems like School Rumble is finally finding its footing and getting itself up to speed. This volume still deserves its place among those five-star books because it perfectly intertwined said giggles with a great continuous storyline.

What makes this series so entertaining is its continuity. I think we’re all very much used to comedies having one-off gags that end up having no impact on the characters or overarching story, and the way that School Rumble breaks this mold is so satisfying and makes everything that much more funny.

It seems to be getting better with every volume. But really Tenma, you admit to your crush not being nice to you at all, and that didn't make you realize there are better guys out there?

School Rumble is a really fun series with a lot of very short chapters in each book. It is funny how the focus of the story has really changed over the three books that have been published. I thought that in the first book, the main character was going to be Tenma. But as the series continues, it seems that Harima is now the main character, which I like better anyway. He looks cool, but sure doesn't act cool.

School Rumble: Volume 3 is another great book in a series that makes me laugh. It is extremely dialog driven, so don't be prepared for a quick read. Like the Negima series, it takes a long to time read the books. And thank goodness for the list of characters at the front of the book. Without that, I would have gotten a little lost on the names. I referred back to it at least ten times while I was reading.

You can tell that the creator, Jin Kobayashi, really love Harima. I think that his antics totally make this series as fun as it is. There are time, though, when the translation is directly from Japanese, and it should have been tweaked a little to make it flow in English a better.

Overall, School Rumble: Volume 3 is a really terrific read and extremely entertaining. I wish my years in high school would have been this amusing. Maybe Harima will be able to confess his love for Tenma in School Rumble: Volume 4? Let's hope so . . . but I doubt it.

I rated this book an 8½ out of 10.

Uhm.. actually, it's the Anime that I've got not the book (manga). But on the second thought, the book is an un-animated version of the anime, hence the book is the un-Anime. So, I could just said that I've already "read" the un-unAnime version of "School Rumble" ...LoL.

Anyway, I just put this one book to represent the whole Anime series I've watched, since I'm not really sure how to map which episode to which book. This one I choose because it has my number one favorite character in its cover: Sawachika Eri. (Yakumo is also great though, but she's my number two.)

volume paling favorit.

Enjoyed this a lot although there's only a few TenmaxKarasuma moments. I'm enjoying the banter between Harima and Eri though hahaha

La chica que te gusta, la playa, la posibilidad de estar muy cerca uno de otro y poder decirle que la amas!!! quien diría que de un escenario tan romántico salieran tantas carcajadas!!???
