Probably somewhere close to a level 2 reading book, my 5 yr old loves these books. He's really into Lego and these books are the first thing he picks up and looks for when he goes to the library. The stories might not always be that riveting, but if it gets him to read, it's good in my book. Not really for preschoolers but good for beginner readers.

My son was on a Star Wars kick where he proceeded to read every book our local library had, including the less than stellar Lego books.

anakin came to the rescue
very inspiring
they cut out the part of the movie where anakin slaughters a camp of sand people including the women and children though so im removing 3 stars for inaccuracy

This was Fritz's bedtime story this evening. He is into all the Lego superhero books and films. Frankly, I had no idea he had Star Wars books. Interestingly, Obi Wan is foolish in this story always wanting cookies. Alas . . .

The storyline isn't particularly interesting.

I do like the narration text to introduce each scene.

The important thing about the book is that it was wonderful to read with my son and he enjoyed it. :)

In the sci-fi genre and for those that enjoy Star Wars this is a good beginning story. The story line is short and confusing (to me that I'm not into Star Wars) although, I found some funny lines and quick jokes. This story is in a cartoon style, good for students to read bubbles and look at details that give clues to the story. Not my favorite story but I really like Lego. The illustration are very graphic and full of action.

This book is about an adventure of Anakin Skywalker and other Star Wars characters illustrated with legos. This book has a comic book like structure and seems a little difficult to read, but it is a great book for younger students to use the pictures to tell the story. I read this to two students during reading stations.

Have you read this book? It is really funny! It is about Obiwan ruining his appetite because he eats cookies that set traps. Get it at a book store! By Gabe
