The book has a lot of good content, but not all of it is at the same level - the first few chapters are too basic (and boring), and there are some at the end which get really deep into the firmware/hardware.

Also, there are long listings of code which are mostly irrelevant (and available online), which seem to be there mostly to pad the book.

Otherwise, there's a lot of stuff there that helps you understand the iPhones better and a lot of information on how to write good exploits.

Very good reference material. Very technical in places. Works well with the Apple Security White Pages as being the generic over view.

There is a lot of good content and research but I doubt how much of it could be used in real action. This book felt like more theory than practice.
