When eliminating wheat from your diet, the good news is that you can lose up to 1 pound a day even if you are consuming lots of protein, cheese, nuts, etc. Thus, you can lose weight faster than what you think. The primary culprit in this scenario is refined grains, sprouted, multigrain, or organic. Refined wheat flour has a direct connection to weight gain. Many individuals eat foods that are high in calories but low in nutritional value. This type of eating is what leads to an increase in the body’s production of fat.Another reason you might decide to stay away from wheat is if you are following a low-carb diet to lose weight. If you are following a diet like this, you will also want to reduce your intake of other types of grains like oats, corn, and more. In addition, carbohydrates are not only found in grains; they are also in fruits, seeds, legumes, and starchy vegetables like potatoes. However, some complex carbohydrates, instead of simple carbohydrates like those found in white bread and other processed grains, can actually help with weight loss and maintenance; thus, the diet does not greatly restrict all of them. The recipes in this cookbook can help you create more meals with healthier types of carbohydrates and with reduced mounts of carbohydrates. For many years, it was thought that the grains are necessary to fit our life, but the research shows that the most eaten grain "wheat” is responsible for many diseases Discover the "Top 49 Easy Recipes" for your Breakfast,Lunch, Dinner, Appetizers, Cookies, Snacks and Desserts".i.e.*If you don't have Kindle you can still read this book on Your Web Browser using Amazon free cloud reader.*The free Kindle app lets you read this Kindle book on your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch- no Kindle required.

I could write so many things about this book, and not many of them very nice. There are 49 boring recipes in this book. They are preceded by assertions without support. And, there are numerous arguments of the form: A happened, B happened about the same time or slightly later, therefore A must have caused B. The lack of anything approaching a coherent argument coupled with ridiculous recipes makes this book useless reading.

Well put together just not for me

Even though myself I can't use many of these recipes since not only am I gluten free but also dairy free. This book has a lot of recipes that call for yogurt ,milk, etc So be aware of this if U are dairy free.I am giving this book a four though because it was well put together and for a free book(at this time ) this was very surprising. The recipes are simple, directions are clear, layout of the book was attractive ,carb counts are included with the recipes (which not all cookbooks do but it is very helpful)I think this book was well throughout and it showed.I have seen many books like this and they are very short, layout was messy, words were misspelled. This book starts with some breakfast recipes and ends w/dessert/snacks.For a freebie it's a start in the right direction and it also has great info

A Fast Read and Recipes Look Delicious

I made the no-bake granola bars yesterday. This was my first recipe tried so far. Unfortunately it is too crumbly for bars, so I just scooped it all in a container and will use as granola on my yogurt, which is fine. It tastes delicious. I have the ebook version and I will be trying more of the recipes.

This book does a good job of explaining why the wheat produced today is different from that cultivated generations ago and how it ultimately affects our bodies. Nice, easy introduction for those looking to begin a low-carb diet.
