Eric, Neal, and Julie return to Droon to repair the damage they caused with the Wand of Urik and venture into a hidden castle in the snow-covered hills to wake up the legendary Knights of Silversnow, their last hope against Lord Sparr.

"Hour after hour, over jagged rocks and deep chasms, the small troop made its way to the highest of the five peaks, where the legendary castle was said to be." (PG. 51)
This was a YA I picked up at the library hoping one of my kids would glance at the cover and want to read but I was wrong. I ended up reading it because it is due at the library soon.
It was EH. I don't understand fantasy much with the made up names and kings and witches and monsters. I prefer movies like this more I feel. I am a very visual person.
Cute for the littles. I am also so bad at series books and looking at this one it is #16. I am not reading the series. Lol.
The adventure and story felt forced like a little kid wrote the sentences so, again, I am not the target audience. I think little Karina would have liked it if it was a childhood book.
I think this book was very good compared to the other books in the series because it was very happy and had funny characters while the other books are mostly just serious.
I've decided to read The Secrets of Droon series entirely for Christmas since i've been feeling a bit nostalgic. I want to be able to live a bit of the magic of being a kid and what beeter to help than this incredible series. I know that this series is for young kids but i feel it will still be great to read and live the excitement. What a good read this one was. Each book gets better than the last. We see Eric getting more powerful along with Urik's wand. We meet new characters and make awesome discoveries. This book had sudpense, adventure, and magic galore. A wonderful adventure that doesn't finish with this book, it continues with its second part in Special Edition #1: The Magic Escapes.
This one was very slow and it felt like the titular characters (the knights) were kind of dud characters. They annoyed me
But, we did learn a LOT about evil droon creatures
- Eric used the wand to give Julie’s dad a better job with his old company. They don’t have to move! - Earthquakes happening in droon - Wants wants to start with eric - Need to go see the three knights - Ninns have a tower that can destroy the lumpies village - The wand is dying - Eric had a vision which tells him a password that unveils the castle - Found the knights. I really like how the characters continue to develop and new ones enter the picture. I also love how this one shows that choices always have consequences, both good and bad.
He did it again, This book will end in a cliff hanger, Don't even read it until you already have the next book, that way you don't have to wait to find out what happens. This was a Good Read.
When Eric uses the Wand of Urik to keep Julie from moving, havoc is unleashed on the upper world. Meanwhile in Droon, Galen is still missing as the kids try to thwart Lord Sparr's evil plans.
This book is full of bravery and ends with suspense. Also I liked how you find out that the Nins, Sparr's helpers, were Orkins before they were turned into Nins. Orkins were famous for how they could build toys and buildings.
I liked this one! I think the series is getting more exciting. I love the little twist with the Ninns and I love that my kids get a kick out of these books. We read a chapter of "Eric" every night for a bedtime story. Such fun, and luckily lots more books to go! (0=
Hands down the best Droon book to date. First real cliff hanger, and the tension and stakes in this one are so much higher. I love it! The knights are so much fun, but seriously...This book is just so great.
when Galen is under a nasty spell they plan to help Galen with the wand of Urik.first they have to wake up the knights of the silver snow to help them.
My students enjoyed this book far more than I did. One of my colleagues remarked that the story was hard to follow. I, personally, felt that it was a tedious read aloud. However, my students enjoyed how imaginative it was, so at the end of the day, that's all that matters.
