Gena Showalter is the New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author of over seventy books, including the acclaimed Lords of the Underworld series, the Gods of War series, the White Rabbit Chronicles, and the Forest of Good and Evil series. She writes sizzling paranormal romance, heartwarming contemporary romance, and unputdownable young adult novels, and lives in Oklahoma City with her family and menagerie of dogs and cats.
Top 10 reasons why every paranormal romance reader HAS TO BUY this book:
1. If you think the cover is hot then you better wear a bib while reading this, there will be major drooling going on. Hunks galore!
2. It's not all about the eye candy. What Living Girl doesn't want tips for catching her own immortal man? This book has that and so much more fun with articles and quizzes!
3. The excerpts are perfect for a LOTU virgin or an obsessed fan. Maddox and Paris steam up the pages with sneak peaks into their books.
4. Speaking of LOTU, amazing casting of the Lords. I'm not even kidding, those demons are perfect. Only complaint... Cameo's pic.
5. The spoof ads. I was literally cracking up with all the immortal style marketing pages included. Not to be missed. Maybe my favorite part.
6. This felt just like reading a Cosmopolitan at all times, with the added benefit that the topic was the immortal man. Excellent job by both authors at doing something so different but 100% well put together.
7. The reader letters. Funny as hell and with some really good answers back. Because sometimes people just want to know if horn size is relative to... other things.
8. Ever wonder what to cook for your immortal man? Have a party and don't know what they'll drink? Well there's food and drink recipes that will be sure to make their mouth water!
9. Horn condoms come in different sizes and flavors! LMAO You will find some of the funniest comments and ideas.
10. Last but not least. I left this laying around a few times and my boyfriend would look at it and start laughing over some of the ads or lines, even the icebreakers. And he can care less about all my other books, so you if you can manage that then know you've got a hit!
So what are you waiting for? You HAVE to buy this. Every PNR household should own a copy!
Have you ever had questions about Immortals and didn't know who to ask? Well look no further because Dating the Undead has all the insider secrets on all things paranormal. It's a book that is actually a parody of a magazine devoted to helping those who are interested in dating a paranormal or are currently in a relationship with one...and it's absolutely hilarious! I found myself laughing so much while reading and I'm not surprised because that's one of the things you can be guaranteed will happen when Gena is involved. She has a great way of weaving comedy into her storylines and it's one of the reasons why I enjoy her books so much. Dating the Undead discusses different paranormals and the issues with some of them. It reads like an issue of Cosmopolitan offering friendly advice and insider information while there are ads for different products such as cover up for vampire bites on the neck. Every page is entertaining and you'll find yourself reading it as if it's all real! This book is genius because while we all know it's not real (or some of us may not know this), it's cleverly written and you'll find yourself nodding your head and thinking about how it good might be to date a vamp, werewolf, or dragon.
The great bonus to reading Dating the Undead is that the first 2 chapters of The Darkest Seduction by Gena Showalter is included! I cannot wait to read Paris's story and it was great to get this sneak peek while reading the book. Dating the Undead is the type of book that any paranormal lover would love and I can guarantee that you would find yourself picking it up off the shelf and rereading it from time to time. There are lots of pics of hot models in it and I found myself fanning my face while trying not to drool over the pages while reading. It would also make a great book gift to a friend and since paranormals are so popular right now, you would totally be the coolest friend ever for giving this gift! Overall, this book was a fun read and if you're a fan of Gena Showalter or Jill Monroe, you won't find yourself disappointing at all by reading Dating the Undead.
Aare you looking for a gift for that special someone, that discriminating single that knows what she wants and what she wants is Mr. Wrong. Are you tired of the same old magazine, well trade in Healthy Living and Elle for Dating the Undead and get the down and dirty on how to attract that Vamp, Zombie or other un-human. Do you have a girlfriend getting married, this is the perfect shower gift, a birthday present for that friend that has everything or the best Valentine’s gift you could give. Or are you the one wishing for a Warlock, longing for a Lycanthrope or dying for a demon. You’ll find everything you need to fulfill your deepest desires. Here are a sampling of articles you’ll find inside: Sexy Pickup Lines,” is it hot in this dungeon or is it you; Lipstick on his collar, is your immortal just a little bit…immoral: Undead and well read, what’s hot between the covers this month. This magazine is a fun idea, it’s a spoof of all the fashionista ads, the beauty ads. the tabloids etc and it’s highly entertaining not to mention some great articles by authors of the genre spotlighting Gena Showalter and Jill Monroe. And a big treat is when Gena’s Lords of the Underworld Bare-All. Don’t wait, get your copy now and be the envy of the neighborhood and the underworld.
It's like an issue of Cosmo for the girl who's dating an Immortal. This book/magazine has it all from horoscopes to the latest fashion for your undead boyfriend. The quizzes cracked me up, and I guess I'm "ready, willing and eager to date a creature of the otherworld."
The article "Nine Reasons We Crave Immortals" is fun and tongue-in-cheek. The Speculation if certain movie stars are undead *cough* Johnny Depp's a vampire *cough* had me thinking that the pictures they used were perfect!
Some of my favorite parts were the ads. There were pictures of waif-like beauties, and lean, built men, and beneath it would say
"Coffin Klein" "LL Brain" for all your zombie fashion needs lol "Recover Girl" to cover up those vampire love bites "Jimmy Chew" "Vladmir's Secret"
Okay I could go on all day. Bottom line: Get this book/magazine, it's friggin' hysterical!
I decided to purchase this book on a whim. I love reading about immortal men and women falling in love and I thought this book would give me a good chuckle. While browsing through this book I was reminded of when I would buy teen magazines when I was younger and I would drool over the hot guys and "info" on how to obtain the right guy for me! LOL
This is really an enjoyable, light hearted read and if you are looking to gain some "info" into the hot hero's of your PNR books then look no further! It has lots of photos and some really funny fake ads...enjoy!
Quick & Dirty: Every girl’s guide to relationships with those oh so yummy paranormal men.
The Review:
My first impression when I opened the box and showed it to my husband was: “It looks like a Cosmo but for us girls who wish vamps/dragons/werewolves etc. were real.” (you guys should of seen the look I got in return) And it seems this impression was a lasting one.
Dating the Undead is a magazine-like book (and yes, Ms. Showalter’s site says it “is absolutely a book”) chock full of information for that girl who finds ordinary human males to be a bit too, well, ordinary, and wants to find that perfect immortal. Or for that super unlucky girl who already found an immortal match, and now just can’t wait to get rid of him. (unimaginable!) Or best yet an incredibly lucky girl who wants to wine, dine, surprise and satisfy her current partner of the un-human variety. (jealous!)
Also like any good chick rag, there is a ton of beautiful men (and some ladies) to take a gander at. Check out “Real-Life Lords of the Underworld Bare All!” Twelve of the hottest men you have ever seen and they’re mortal. Who would have thought you could be this delicious without immortality.
Also included is an excerpt from not one but two…TWO…Lords of the Underworld series. Maddox’s book, The Darkest Night, book 1, and Paris’s book, The Darkest Seduction, book 9. So sidle up ladies to some great reading, some definitely THFW. (TOO HAWT FOR WORK)
In the “Couple Cravings Quiz” I found out I am perfectly suited for a relationship with an otherworlder, (I knew it!!) and “Your Otherwordly Astrologer” informs me that a Dragon or Vampire might just be the right species for me. I will admit, I have always been partial to tasty vampire morsels, but then again who can resist a hot guy who can fly?
One of my favorite parts was “Is It Hot in This Dungeon-or Is It YOU?—Immortal Icebreakers Sure to Turn His Undead Head.” Specifically the line “I think I have a little Demon in me—at least I hope to by the end of the night.” But just one question? Wouldn’t a guy normally find this a bit insulting—little Demon?!?!? *giggle*
Also in this feature, “Manscaping Your Manly Immortal,” witness the most amazing manscape makeover ever. You wouldn’t see a greater transformation if you used pictures of two completely different models. *snort*
The only thing it seems to be lacking is those annoying, headache inducing perfume ads, which is awesome. But, also disappointing, because I want to know what scent would work best around that vamp who will be mine someday. But again, most books don’t come with perfume either.
All in all, Dating the Undead had me laughing out loud the whole time, from its cover featuring a sexy undead model, to the Dead Bull ad at the end. It even garnered some secretive extra glances in the waiting room. I think I spied someone looking for a copy of their own on another table. So sorry, girlfriend, paranormal lovers only!
Well my friends, I am off to find my immortal true love. I promise to be thinking of you when I am on my way to Atlantis for the vacation trip I booked on Traveloddity. I wonder if I remembered to pack my Jimmy Chews and favorite Devlon lipstick in Abra Cadaver Pink, not to mention my very sexy Vladimir’s Secret number.
FTC Advisory: Harlequin provided me with a copy of Dating the Undead. No goody bags, sponsorships, “material connections,” or bribes were exchanged for my review.

Review: When I was first offered the opportunity to review this book, I was surprised I had never heard of it. On closer inspection I instantly knew I had to read it! At first glance Dating The Undead looks like a Cosmo magazine or a copy of Elle. In a way, a very twisted and sexy way it totally is just that. While Gena’s website say’s this novel is intended to look like a magazine, it is in fact a novel. So finding it hard to take your eyes off the cover? Ya me too…. But you have to because it just gets better inside!!
This is the part where I normally talk about characters, but there isn’t an MC here so I am modifying this. Dating The undead is full of articles by LG’s (Living Girls) with huge personalities that leap off the pages in the articles, advice columns and interviews. I was finding it hard to believe that there isn’t a whole world with paranormal creatures out their looking for love when I was reading! The article “Why Oh Why Do We Love Them” was super insightful into the reason, we fall in love with “bad boys”. It was also kind of funny to read and think oh that is why I am obsessed with Ash, Luc, Adrian, Jace, Gabe and Patch! The list could go on, but I had to keep it short, if you can name all the books that those guys are from, you know what I am talking about!!
Having read Dating The Undead I now am armed with all the information I need to find my perfect immortal man. The “Immortal Icebreakers Sure to Turn His Head” have given me a few conversation starters, my personal favorite being for an Angel; “Don’t mind me – I’m an astronomer checking out heavenly bodies.”. The novel also offers a glimpse into Gena’s first novel of her Lord of the Underworld series, which gives you the chance to decide if the series is something you should look into. For me after reading that chapter the answer is a definite yes.
There are also recipes in here for cocktails and foods that look heavenly in the pictures. Not to mention the beauty tips which made me smile. In the Otherworldly Astrology page, I learned that my best match would be an Angel, but I would do fine with Dragons or Weres. Apparently I have to avoid Zombies, because they don’t handle the truth very well. At least I have a pickup line though, I am all set to go out on the town to find my Angel, and will have to pick up DJ (DJ’s Life In Fiction) soon so we can go out to the club or should I say Dungeon!
Gena and Jill have created a witty novel that brings to life the immortals that we have read about adding a whole new side to our obsessions! I am desperately hoping there will be another installment!

If you're in the mood for something you can laugh your ass off at while ogling pretty immortals, Dating the Undead is definitely for you. The articles, ads, quizzes, recipes... every single page had so much thought put into it making Dating the Undead work like an actual magazine; a magazine that was supernaturally clever. I've picked up hundreds of magazines in my lifetime and usually I just skip to the parts I enjoy, I was amazed that all of the little things I typically ignore (like fan letters and horoscopes) were included and that they were just as fun and amusing as the longer pieces. Reading Dating the Undead became an experience because of this.
The continuity and world immersion of Dating the Undead was perfectly done and so much fun. I loved reading a joke or about a product on one page and then seeing it crop up again several pages later. One of my favorites was the Coffin Klein brand. There's an ad for it in the very beginning and if you look closely enough at some of the pictures that have low riding jeans, you'll see the paranormal label again. Very sneaky and clever... and delicious.
One of my favorite articles included the pick up lines one, soo funny. "The moon isn't full tonight, but I bet I can make you howl." I also enjoyed the possible celebrity immortals article; some of the possibilities had me wondering why hadn't I thought of that before. Gerard Butler as a werewolf? Totally plausible and hot. Many of the articles poked fun at other paranormal books (sparkling vampires, check) as well as the overused cliches in the genre (mortal male best friend that ends up causing a love triangle when he really never stands a chance-this one got a while article on how to keep him in the friend zone).
Want to know what it takes to date a vampire? Unsure of what to get the werewolf in your life for his birthday? Need some advice on how to get over your cheating ex demon boyfriend? Then look no further than Dating The Undead. This guide is jammed pack with helpful tips and articles on how to strengthen your relationship with your immortal or for those who don't have a ring on your finger, or a mating mark on your neck, learn which creature of the night would be the best match for you.
At first, I was a little unsure of what to make of Dating The Undead. Is it a book or magazine? Is it a Lords of the Underworld user guide? Is it going to be nothing but silly nonsense? Well, I finally checked it out and what I found is that this is a really fun read. There are great articles about Zombies, Angels, Demons, Werewolves, Vampires and Dragons, written as if this is a actual magazine and our world was inhabited by immortals. There are secrets given about each species, relationship advice, fashion advice and articles on what to eat and how to stay fit and energized so you can keep up with your immortal lover. There are even ads, like Dead Bull and Coffin Klein, and recipes, like sweet 'n' spicy angel-bait salsa and chocolate fondue-me (I'd actually make these recipes!). This is just the tip of the iceberg to all the goodies you'll find inside.
Fans of Gena Showalter's Lord of the Underworld series will be interested the sneak peek into The Darkest Seduction and the character spotlight section. As a fan of the LOTU, I thought this was a real treat and like that it also included the first chapter of The Darkest Night, book one and great for those who are thinking about starting this series. Everything in Dating The Undead is so well written that you may actually start to believe this is a real magazine. I believe there's something for every paranormal romance fan in this highly entertaining guide/book/magazine. - Stephanie G
I'm still a little bit unsure as to how to feel fully about this book/glossy magazine so apologies if you feel differently about it when you read/review it. I think what's thrown me is that it's in the form of a glossy magazine so if you are expecting to receive a book when you order this item you won't be as it is most definitely in the format of a magazine. The two authors who have co-collaborated on this are Gena Showalter who is one of my favourite authors and Jill Monroe who I haven't really read much of her stuff.
Imagine a magazine you would buy from your local newsagent and then imagine that Immortals aka the Undead are actually real and common knowledge in the world and that a magazine has been set up and goes out monthly/weekly giving advice on how to go about dating them, what to expect from them etc and this is the format of the book/magazine. There are many many articles ranging from how to date an immortal, what to expect from an immortal etc with lots of little quizzes and even problem page agony aunt (or zombie) articles within the book/magazine. It's basically a bit of tongue in cheek fun and they have even included advertisement pages re tailored as if immortals really did exist such as 'Re-coverGirl' and 'Devlon'. Not an in depth read as it's obviously set out as a magazine but a good little bit of fun for those of us who enjoy this genre of book, don't know if I'd buy another one if they released this as a regular thing though as personally I prefer a good book I can thoroughly immersed in.
DATING THE UNDEAD appeared out of the blue and had me laughing from the first moment when I opened the package. A note-perfect parody of glamour magazines, every LG (living gal) with a zest for the paranormal will want to get their hands on a copy of DATING THE UNDEAD.
DATING THE UNDEAD has the look and feel of a high-end graphic novel and between the funny articles, parody advertisements, and excerpts of Showalter’s Lords of the Underworld series, my initial good impression just kept getting better. As much a parody of fashion magazines as it is a celebration of Paranormal Romance, this book is beautifully executed. From “Manscaping Your Manly Immortal” to my first taste of the Lords of the Underworld line up, DATING THE UNDEAD had enough material to keep me entertained through several beach days and plane flights (or one long, cozy evening on the couch).
When it comes to a series' “bonus” material, graphics and execution are key to my enjoyment. DATING THE UNDEAD certainly fits the bill on both of those accounts with gorgeous men, flashy magazine spreads, and quizzes to help me find that perfect immortal (or pampering recipes to help me get over him). Funny, interesting, and a visual treat, every LG should have a copy of DATING THE UNDEAD tucked into her beach bag for spring.
I had been eyeing this book -- or book magazine -- for quite awhile now. When they offered it for review to me, I jumped on the chance! Who wouldn't want to read anything by authors Gena Showalter or Jill Monroe? Best of all, it is by both of them!
I absolutely loved this book! It is definitely for the Immortal lover in all of us. Can't decide which Immortal creature is for you? This book goes in depth of the pro's and con's of each species. It features werewolves, vampires, angels, dragons, demons and even zombies. The best thing about this book is the magazine feel of it. It is set up like a magazine and has everything you could imagine in it.
We have recipes, interviews, travel locations, drink recipes, character evaluations, quiz's, and so much more. My favorite thing though was the ads. I couldn't help but laugh out loud at all of the creative ads that were included. We had 'Dead Bull' energy drinks, GoDieVa Chocolates, J. Crud clothing, U.P.T. Undead Pregnancy Tests, and even Mythmatch.com ads.
So readers put your Cosmo's and Vogue's away and be sure to pick up the new craze on the shelves! Guaranteed to be the best romance finder on the market for that perfect Undead mate! Plus you even get a sneak peek at author Gena Showalters next book, The Darkest Seduction!
Reviewed By~Jen Review Copy provided By~ Planned Television Arts If y'all have been reading my reviews, you know that I rarely award a book 5 stars. But I loved this "book" from cover to cover. Gena Showalter and Jill Monroe have created a masterpiece with their magazine stylized book devoted to the world of Dating the Undead.
After checking out the cover, I turned to page one and was rewarded with an ad for Coffin Klein and I knew I was in for quite a ride. All the ads had me rolling. I mean, who came up with mythmatch.com, GoDieVa or Jimmy Chew? It's pure genius.
On to the articles... they covered everything you'd find in a regular magazine but with an awesome twist. There were recipes, an advice column, fashion stories and so on. The authors equally tackle advice on how to date vampires, werewolves, dragons, zombies, angels and demons. And to top it off, the photos are awesome. Hot guys abound.
Included in this magazine is a sneak peak at Gena Showalter's upcoming release, The Darkest Seduction (*squee*), and a wonderful photo album of her Lords of the Underworld. I'll admit that I hadn't pictured the Lords like this, but I will from now on.
This really is a must read for paranormal fans. And I dare you to not crack a smile at least once as you read. Now excuse me while I go re-take that quiz on whether or not I have what it takes to date an immortal.
How much fun does this sound?! I want to thank Molly over at Reviews By Molly for introducing this to me!! Once she told me about it, I had to rush over to Amazon and grab myself a copy.
My copy came today, thanks to my lovely UPS man and let me tell you - it is delish, laugh-out-loud humorous and just tons of fun! The endless drool-worthy pictures are awesome - remember back in the day when you used to grab those pop and movie mags, drool over the pics of the hot guys and hang them up on the wall? Well, Dating the Undead is like that, but only for grown-ups, lol.
Other than the pictures, there are tons of parody advertisements geared toward the day-to-day lifestyle of the Undead (Coffin Klein, anyone?), quizzes, advice, a look into what the undead look for in a mate (or victim) and so much more! Think Cosmo for the undead! As extra added fun there is an exclusive excerpt from The Darkest Seduction by Ms. Showalter herself.
I have to say that these two girls have produced a very unique, addicting and amazingly fun idea with the paranormal magazine parody! This is a definite not-to-be-missed publication for paranormal lovers everywhere! I am not sure if they are going to release another edition, but I would be first in line to pick up a new copy!!
I’m a huge fan of Gena Showalter and her Lords of the Underworld series. When I learned about Dating the Undead, I attempted to pre-order it for my Kindle, only to discover to my shock and horror that it would only be available in print. I have nothing against printed books, but I prefer to read on my Kindle- something about instant gratification. However, once I got my copy of Dating the Undead, I realized why it’s unsuitable for e-book form.
Hyped as the first and only guide devoting to loving the immortal man, female humans are referred to as Living Girls or LG, for short. Complete with tips on how to manscape your immortal with skin and hair products aimed for immortals, workouts for LGs and their immortal men, and recipes, readers will find themselves immersed into a fictional world. It’s essentially Cosmopolitan Magazine for the Paranormal.
The humor of the authors, Gena Showalter and Jill Monroe, shines throughout the guide.
What a fun read! This book is set up like a magazine with less advertisements and more substance. All of this substance is fun and filled with all the paranormal guys you can handle. Seriously…so many different guys. There is something for fans of vampires, zombies, angels, demons, dragons, werewolves….all of it! Need advice on how to snag a date with your ideal paranormal guy? It’s in here. Reader letters and questions are featured as well. Even the advertisements are geared towards to girl who is living but likes her guys on the undead side. The advertisements are always amusing and very clever. This is a great read for those who just want to droll over all the different types of paranormal guys we love to read about and for those that want more information about them.
I thought this guide was really neat. Any fan of paranormal romance will want this volume in their collection. It reads just like your favorite woman's magazine without the subscription cards and perfume samples (Thank the gods!). It's filled with advice on how to handle your undead lover or spouse. It has fun fashion and beauty tips, a love quiz, and tons of photos of very drool worthy male beings. I got a kick out of the ads that are littered throughout the book. Who wouldn't want to decorate their house with items from Cave and Coffin? Gena and Jill have put together a really fun and informative book. Definitely check it out or consider giving it as a gift to a friend who loves the paranormal!
OMG I can't wait to read this! Not only is the guy on the cover seriously hawt, but the excerpt of Paris's story would be worth buying this alone.
UPDATE: March 17, 2012
Cosmo, The Supernatural Edition . . . That's how this very funny book reads.
It was so funny and the excerpt of Paris's story really is worth buying this for.
From articles like "Lotions and Potions and Scrubs--Oh, My!" to "Blood Stains on His Collar, Doritos in His Bed" plus ads for "Coffin Klein", "Howlex", and "Devlon", in addition to other funny ones, this is a favorite of mine that I will read over and over and over again. :-)
An excellent read. Informative and funny. Dating the Undead is set up (in size and content) like an issue of Cosmo, except geared toward immortals. Inside the pages you will find articles on all sorts of topics that will be helpful for you and your immortal, quizzes, recipes, an excerpt to The Darkest Seduction and more. My favorite part is the article "Real Life Lords of the Underworld BARE ALL!" The eye candy is to die for. I also loved such adverts as Coffin Klein, Vladmir's Secret, Jimmy Chrew and Got Bludd. This is a must read for immortal fans, especially if you love the Lords of the Underworld.
I adore Gena Showalter, and I could see her doing something off-the-wall like Dating the Undead. It would be really fun to see unique "books" like it a bit more often especially from other authors in order to get their take. Readers get hilarious advertisements, fantastical dating advice, even cocktail recipes in this gem of a magazine (that I sometimes wish was available in subscription just for the ads). I thought the concept was unique, whimsical, and quite enjoyable. Those who adore paranormal creatures or are avid Gena Showalter or Jill Monroe fans should get a real kick out of this title.
Cosmopolitan with hot immortal guys? I knew I had to buy it! And it was the right dedision.
Jill Monroe and Gena Showalter present us with a dish of pure fun. There's everything in here: recipes, quizzes, good advice, information about your favorite immortal, and so much more. I don't want to give too much away since it would ruin all the fun, but this is definetely a must-read for every Paranormal Romance fan, and especially fans of Ms Showalters Lords of the Underworld series.
1 star deduced because it was pretty short and very expensive.
I really enjoyed this book! Writing a Cosmo Magazine type book for LG's (living girls) wanting to date immortals was a great idea! The ads were really cute. I liked the Gena and Jill's version of zombies as video game loving junk food addicts.
And really any book that talks about the importance of horn condoms for sexy time with your demon is ok by me! ;-)
I would love to see more of these with other creatures, articles and more dating advice from angels and demons.
What's your love match--vampire, demon, or zombie? This is the type of book that has a quiz to help you find out!
The Sexy Pickup Lines article was quite amusing-- To a vampire: "Do you believe in love at first bite?" To a zombie: "They say this bar is a meat market--and I would love to be your prime rib!"
Book seems to be addressed mainly to women--many photos of half-naked young studs in the articles and ads in this magazine-style book!
Oh my goodness! This is laugh-out loud hilarious! My favorite parts were the advertisements- think U.P.T. = Undead Pregnancy Test (so you know who or what you're having!). What I didn't care that much for? I realize she's one of the co-authors, but did we really need the Lord of the Underworld plugs? (yes, that's plural)
It's quite unique and I enjoyed it. Thought it was cute and made me giggle sometimes like I did when I was young and looked through magazines. Fun articles and contest winners. It was very unique and an awesome idea. And a great teaser for ppl who follow the books. XOXO
I had expected more from this but it was interesting enough. My favorite part has to be the Lords of the Underworld pictures which are beyond hot and of course, The Darkest Seduction preview chapters.
This was a great tongue in cheek read, a Cosmo style book, but where the content is all things paranormal. When reading you can't discount the ads, as they are part of the fun. With each page I found myself chuckling. If you need a pick me up and love all things paranormal, check this one out.
This is a book set up like a magazine that is all about Living Girls (LG) who date vampires, werewolves, demons, zombies, angels, and dragons. There are some creative advertisements and interesting articles. This is purely a fun read.
