A little too simple for what I was looking for, but some super cute activities for little ones.

This is a cute book filled with lots of appealing activities and crafts for some inexpensive family fun. Perhaps the thing I liked most about this book is that it includes the holidays of Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas and adds in New Year's too.
Great photography and stepped-out instructions with photos. Templates are included at the back of the book.
I borrowed this book from the local public library.

Positives:
-clear materials lists
-nice color pictures of the final products
-easy to follow, numbered steps
-images and text on facing pages to give you the full project in one spread
-many different holidays incorporated, including New Year, Kwanzaa, Christmas, etc.
-templates provided
Negatives:
-ideas did not seem very unique
-the book was not organized. All holidays and projects just mixed in together
-Because of the way the projects were presented, there were lots of filler pages with nothing of note on them.
-Some of the templates were very small and require resizing
Overall, this has some fun ideas for kids for the winter holidays, and you might want to check it out from the library if you have young crafty kids. However, you can also find most of the ideas on Pinterest or in other holiday tutorial books. Despite the extra space required for the layout, I like the way the projects are presented, as much as possible, in double-page spreads.
