light, fun and entertaining. Enjoying this series. This book (and the one before) are perfect when you just want to read something fun. There is the paranormal element with having werewolves, the romance element, the sense of community element plus we get to see the characters from the first book in the series. I wasn't a huge fan of Maggie in the first book but liked her in this one!

Sexy Nerd Alert!!

Maggie is a female alpha werewolf who meets Nick, a human male nerd, and her attraction to his sexy nerdy ways is immediate. The problem is that he is in town to study werewolves and she might need to kill him to keep her pack safe.
Or.... just brainstorming here.... maybe she can have sex with him until he forgets the idea of werewolves completely... just sayin'...
There is more than one way to accomplish a goal. I'd go with Option B.



Maggie has a boatload of issues going on in her life, what with everyone trying to either kill her, mate her, or dethrone her as alpha. It's like the werewolf edition of fuck/marry/kill.


If he's chuckling at this joke, he can fit into category A or B. If not, he's a C.

These two take a long time to get together, and actually date other people in the meantime (but, there's no cheating). Maggie is dating another werewolf and sees Nick dancing with another human, and talks to her sister-in-law about the situation:

"It's no big deal. Nick and I, we're trying to be friends. He knew I was here with a date. It's not like I got all wound up when he was dancing with Saint Darby, the Animal Rescue Princess."

"So, you're okay with this?" Mo asked.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"Because you called her Saint Darby, the Animal Rescue Princess," Mo said. "It expresses a certain amount of latent hostility..."

I love Molly Harper's humor in writing, and although I find some of the characters in the werewolf series slightly less likable than the ones in the Jane Jameson series, I still really enjoy myself when I read her books. She always brings about some quirky and silly moments that crack me up, along with side characters that make me love them. I'm on to the next one.

4.5 Stars! I'm hooked on this author's writing and Amanda Ronconi's animated narration.

I thought the pairing of Maggie and Nick was brilliant! I know some readers didn't care for Maggie in How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf, and I was a little leery of her too, but she was awesome in this book. Being an alpha female without an alpha male by her side, forced her to have an edge, be a bit gruff, and I think Molly Harper did a great job rounding out her character. Maggie was fierce, but melted and got all girly-goo around Nick...loved that adorable geek too!! Cooper was front and center, a central part of the story along with Mo and baby Eva...cute little pup that she is, just don't say that around Mo!

There were some wonderful secondary characters, although in reality I would really consider them to be key players; Momma Graham, Samson (his bromance with Nick was great), Clay, Alicia, a nice little mystery, and a twist that I didn't see coming. This is not your typical shifter/werewolf series, oh the mating call is strong and steamy...very hot...but as a whole the humor zany characters and human/shifter pairings, set it apart from most paranormal reads.

I can't wait for the next book, How To Run With A Naked Werewolf, and once again be wowed by Molly Harper's wonderful writing and Amanda Ronconi's delightful narration!

There was nothing wrong with this book, other than the fact that I was bored out of my mind and I felt no chemistry between Maggie and Nick.

Hmm... well I guess something was wrong with this book after all.

I listened to the audiobook version and the narrator, Amanda Ronconi, really puts her all into her characterizations. She is lively and tries her best to make the book funny and entertaining. However, though she does awesome male voices and I liked her female voices overall, her Maggie voice, combined with Maggie's tomboyish persona, came across as sort of... how do I put this... butch.

Okay, I'll just come out and say it, Maggie seemed like one giant lesbian.

If the author didn't repeatedly tell us that Maggie was interested in Nick, I wouldn't have been the least bit surprised if Maggie started hitting on that hoochie waitress at Mo's diner and got it on with her in the parking lot. She came across as super not interested in men, and the sort of deep audiobook voice of Maggie didn't help matters.

I also thought that the plot dragged and, honestly, I just didn't care to finish it. I didn't actively dislike it but it was nothing more than blah for me.

The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf was cute, entertaining and filled with humor; the perfect kind of book to put a smile on your face and lighten your mood.

I met Maggie in the first book. She’s Cooper’s sister and the chosen Alpha of their pack when Cooper refuses to take up that position. Maggie’s life is the pack, dealing with a whole host of issues on a daily basis: mediating disagreements, looking after their elderly members, patrolling the land, and defending the pack from any possible threats. A big threat has entered her territory in the form of a geeky but gorgeous man, Nick. He’s up in Grundy investigating rumors of werewolves and looking for the real story behind the folklore, risking their exposure if he gets too close to the truth.

Of course, Maggie is attracted this hunk-of-nerd, but Maggie can’t let her feelings for him get in the way of protecting the pack. Also, mating with just a regular human lessens the chances she’ll have children who shift into wolves. Still, these two can’t fight the pull and soon they’re spending more and more time together.

In the midst of all this, someone is anonymously attacking Maggie. A few times it seems like a prank, but these attacks are getting more dangerous, but Maggie can’t pin down the perpetrator. To me, it was sort of obvious who was behind all this, but it didn’t occur to Maggie which was a little hard to believe at times.

Maggie behaved like a spoiled child in the first book and so was very unlikeable. It took me a while to warm up to her, and while she was much better in this installment, Maggie never truly won my heart over. Nick was a sweetheart and a hero my bookish self really appreciated! Yet, I really didn’t have strong feelings for the romance, because I never felt their connection intensely. Maybe I questioned what Nick saw in Maggie? Not sure what didn’t wow me. Still, the story was quite entertaining with a fun group of secondary characters and I really loved the setting of Alaska, as well. I missed being in Grundy for most of this book, part of its appeal was its Northern Exposure type of vibe I got from the story and this was missing here.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, How to Flirt With a Naked Werewolf and while I enjoyed this installment it didn’t hold the same appeal. Still, it was a lot of fun! I think the narration really enhanced the story with Ms. Ronconi giving life to the dry, sarcastic humor I love so much. I plan on reading the next in the series How to Run With a Naked Werewolf, very soon.

“Eva seemed to be on some sort of mission to work her evil/cute baby magic on me. Ever since she'd started toddling around on those chubby little legs, she'd been targeting me, the least enthusiastic baby person in the room. I think she enjoyed the challenge, which proved that we were related.

Eva would tug on my pants leg until I picked her up. And then she'd basically stare me down with those big blue-grey eyes of hers, daring me not to snuggle her. It was like facing down a tiny, diapered mastermind.

And of course, I caved. I snuggled her. I babbled. I read her Where the Wild Things Are until I was hoarse. I actually found myself watching my language. Shudder.”

Maggie the alpha in a werewolf pack has a lot on her plate. She has to deal with the day to day running of her pack, some of her pack aren't happy that she's alpha and are busy undermining her authority. She has a bunch of guys who want to become her life mate, and someone seems to be trying to kill her. Add to that Nick a very sexy anthropologist who is convinced of the existence of werewolves is sniffing around.

I like Molly Harper...a lot. I love her clever turn of phrase, her intelligent sense of humor, I love the way she writes women (strong and determined). Unfortunately there is just a little too much going on in this book. The key storyline, that of the relationship between Maggie and Nick is overshadowed by all the other goings on and what is left is a bit of a dogs breakfast. It's still good, I might even say it's still great, but it doesn't reach the lofty heights of some of her other books.

3.5 stars but I am rounding up.

This is such a fun series. Laugh out loud funny, but not mean funny and not stupid funny – just funny. The first in this series, How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf, is funnier, sweeter and just a better book. But The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf is still worth reading, worth listening to and a decent installment.

What do I like about this series? I am typically not a paranormal romance fan. So here is my reasoning of why I am enjoying this series and I cannot wait until the third in this series is released.

Not Formulaic
Many (not all) paranormal romance novels focus on a big and emotionally damaged male who somehow has to save a woman in need. The Naked Werewolf series is not about this formula, which okay can be fun if done right but does get tiring. The hero in this book is a portrayed as a highly educated bookish nerdy guy – yummm. And the heroine is the alpha of a werewolf pack.

The characters
The characters, despite mostly being werewolves, are average people. They aren’t super rich, they cook food, go to work and have friendships. Molly Harper shows her characters in normal friendship situations, interacting with each other and hanging out.

The town
I guess this goes along with the characters. The series focuses on a small array of characters that live in the area the book takes place and which interact with each other. The characters repeat from the first book and create a richer and fuller background.

The setting
I am a sucker for a rural and remote setting, factor in winter and a forest – and I will dream of living there. This series is set in Alaska. Can’t get much more remote or rural than that. Molly Harper shows the setting to be beautiful but powerfully scary.

The focus of the story
Yes, this is paranormal romance and the uniting of one couple is the focus of the Naked Werewolf series. But the friendships and the werewolf pack are also important to the storyline. And even better – the couple from the first book plays a starring role in this second book.

Yes, the book is slightly predictable and maybe I knew who the bad guy was before the big reveal. But, the world is richly created, the characters are interesting and it is laugh out loud funny. If you do audio books, I highly recommend listening to the performance of these books. They are well done.

As entertaining as the first book.
Although Cooper's sister Maggie won't strike you as a true pack alpha (there are simply too many mistakes she makes the alpha should know better), that doesn't take anything away from the story. Their family and pack dynamics is still funny. Even if you can't say the whole book is hilarious, those one-liners are worth the reading.

Nick comes to their little part of the world hoping to prove the existence of supernatural beings. You can see how this might be a serious problem for Maggie. Of course the first thing she thinks of is to get rid of him, but her family frowns on that kind of thing. Go figure.

'How many family conversations are going to be interrupted by me telling you, no, you can’t kill someone and make it look like an accident?'

What Maggie doesn't expect is her weird reaction to Nick. She is under a lot of pressure to find a mate. One of the potential candidates is the dumbest person she knows, but she can't do anything about Lee because he is a nephew of a pack member. So she deals with it in her own way.

'So, I put up with Lee and his blithe advances and contented myself with giving him minor injuries whenever he tried to touch me.'

A human is the last thing she should think of. Maggie being Maggie (we know how she dealt with problems in the previous book), is pretty mad. The family advice doesn't help her much.

'Yeah, but when has telling someone to do what makes them happy ever resulted in a good decision? Remember when we told cousin Todd to do what made him happy and he came home with recently augmented boobs?'

There are so many hilarious comments in this book.

Oh, and I loved Nick.

'I’m happy either way,” Nick said. “Oh, that’s sweet.” Cooper chuckled. “You think you have a vote.'

So, the bottom line regarding The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf is that it's low angst, fun and light. Of course you can find stuff to nitpick if you wish, but if you want something with simple fairytale resolutions, something to make you laugh, then look no further.

Molly Harper books are just plain funny. If you're wanting an easy, light and cleaver read, her books are perfect. That being said, I didn't love this book as much as the first in this series, "How to Flirt With a Naked Warewolf."

Maggie, the heroine, was introduced in the first book as Cooper's sister. (He was the werewolf hero then.) Quite frankly, she wasn't very likable back then, and she wasn't very likable in this book. She was a tough, scrappy, alpha-female that could easily kick fellow werewolf tail. Hummm, not exactly "Ms. Personality!" I wanted to like her and she was quite funny and self-deprecating at times, although, "funny" is a far cry from being a plain ole, ahem...bitch. Her only redeeming quality was the fact that she finally lightened up when she realized she was falling for the hero and human, "Nick."

This story would have been much better had there not been so much going on. Maggie still lived at home, and being the alpha-wolf (replacing Cooper from that job in book 1), made her in charge of all the family's business. She also had to look after an aunt with dementia, a few "slow" werewolves who couldn't keep from marking their territory all over her, that part was actually hilarious and making sure this new handsome human in town was kept from finding out the truth about her family. We were flip-flopped around a lot until finally, the story started to get interesting in the last 1/3 of the story. Yep, you have to wait a while for this romance to finally take hold and I'm not sure how many of us is that patient. Not to mention that since this story was written in 1st person and kept the reader in Maggie's head way too much. I wanted to know more about how Nick was feeling or heck, at one point, I would have been entertained by the aunt's point of view, who had dementia.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy Harper's books and her clever humor and fluid writing style; although, I just couldn't stay connected with this book as much as I'd hoped.

I adore books that make me smile or chuckle. It is very rare for me to find one that will make me laugh out loud...but this book did, several times!

We are treated to Maggies' story, but for those of you who have read the first novel How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf, you will be happy to know that Mo and Cooper are in secondary character parts.

Don't worry if you don't have the time or inclination to read the first novel. (although I'll bet you will go back to read that one and the third one that is soon to be published How to Run with a Naked Werewolf) Ms. Harper does an excellent job with back-story so you never feel left out of the loop. However, for fans, she doesn't overindulge in back-story and make the series readers feel like most of the book is filler.

There is enough sarcastic banter, romance, heated encounters, mystery and misdirection to keep almost any reader happy.

Maggie is a werewolf and is her packs Alpha and Nick has come into town searching for the truth behind the werewolf legends. Maggie needs to misdirect Nick and his multiple Ph.D.'s from the truth about werewolves, for everyone's safety. But, something draws Maggie to Nick like a moth to a flame. Heated encounters ensue, but Maggie needs to look out for her pack.

There is more action that will keep you reading and trying to figure out just who is the bad-guy. This is a fairly fast and light read, designed to entertain and to not overly tax your brain. This is just what I needed on a cold and dreary winter's day.

Molly Harper has created such a unique world with her Naked Werewolf series, and this second book is just as funny, romantic, and sexy as the first. Somehow, even though this is a light, easy read, Ms. Harper manages to make the characters, both shifters and humans, complex people who we can't help but love.

Seriously, if you're looking for books to take on vacation, a day at the beach, or just hanging out at home and don't want something that's going to make your head explode with drama and angst, you need to give these a try. I'm so excited to have another author to glom onto, and so thankful to Dorsey for encouraging me to read these books!!

I stumbled upon Molly Harper ages ago. I won't lie... I judged a book by it's cover (and it's hilarious name). How could I not want to read a book that had such a fun name? I work in marketing, so that kind of pull in is exactly what we look for in an ad! So, true to my nature, I decided... why not? Let's give it a read!

I am now on book two of the Naked Werewolf series. The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf is a fun paranormal romance that packs comedy, drama, and romance all into one book. It's a fast paced read with a really nice style and tone that kept me engaged. This kind of book is exactly the kind of read I look for! Not too serious, but also loads of fun!

In this book, we follow Maggie Graham - the resident Alpha of our werewolf pack. She's rough and tough, and the strong female character we all want and need in our reading life. In walks Nick Thatcher, a Ph.D. wielding stud who is researching... you guessed it... werewolves. It's kind of awkward at first, but Maggie and Nick clearly have a spark between them. But, things are getting worse. Maggie has lots of men eying her to be their bride and have their wolf pups, and there's a group of rival werewolves sneaking around... Maggie and the pack will figure it out, but at what cost?

This lighthearted book was exactly what I needed. This is such an underrated gem that is hiding away. Molly Harper is a great romance writer and made me smile. And, best of all... a sexy nerd! WOO!

Another cozy PNR win for me! This is the second book that I really enjoyed that I've read for the paranormal romance readathon I'm hosting with my friends. It's a fun tale about a female werewolf trying to scare off a man who keeps researching about werewolves and they end up in love with each other instead. Action scenes towards the end where an evil character comes and tries to kill her and him!!

I think I need to read everything Molly Harper has written. This is the second book in the series, and just as much fun! The characters are all so incredibly likable, and the love story between Maggie and Nick , Is just so cute. Makes you want to marry A werewolf, they have such a tight family bond, are always there for one another, and the boy werewolves all seem to be hot!

This was not as fun as the first book. I love the world building and Maggie is great. But the hero pretty much falls in love with her on sight and it didn’t feel believable.

Plus, she’s dating some other guy for half the book. It was weird.

Enh. It was okay and I’ll read the next book but didn’t come close to the enjoyability of the first.

It’s too bad because we get an alpha female werewolf for once. But even that was lackluster. Females aren’t meant to be alpha but she gets to be cause her brother refused. It wasn’t my favorite.

Maggie Graham knows her place in the pack hierarchy – it’s comfortably on top, bossing everyone else around. As the Alpha of the Grundy Alaskan werewolf pack, Maggie literally has the furry world on her shoulders. Ever since her brother abdicated the pawed throne, Maggie has had to be local sheriff, judge and jury to her little wolf community. So when an anthropological zoologist with Trekkie tendencies comes sniffing around, hunting for ‘werewolves’, it falls to Maggie to interrogate and run him out of town.

It just sucks that Nick Thatcher smells so darn good, and happens to have a whole sexy professor vibe that gets Maggie’s engine revving. It’s also bad timing that Nick turns up right when Maggie’s aunties are dropping boulder-sized hints about match-making and mating for life...

‘The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf’ is the second book in Molly Harper’s ‘Naked Werewolf’ paranormal romance series.

I loved the first book in this series, ‘How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf’. That first book concentrated on the romance of exiled-Alpha, Cooper, and his human mate Mo. In ‘Seducing’, Cooper’s younger sister Maggie is the first-ever female Alpha and coasting in her leadership role when a handsome spanner is thrown in her works, in the form of Nick Thatcher. Wolfy hilarity ensues. . .

In ‘Flirt’, Maggie was a combative and prickly character – angry at her brother for abandoning the pack, and disgruntled at her impotence in the testosterone-filled pack hierarchy. I wasn’t sure how I'd like her as a protagonist, let alone a love interest, given her somewhat mean disposition. But Molly Harper has written Maggie as whip-quick, ballsy chick. I loved how strong she was and unremorsefully cocky. She’s a fantastic protagonist, and utterly unique in the paranormal romance genre;

“Look, Mags, I'm not any happier about him being here than you are. But I think we should take a more subtle approach than your usual ‘bite first, bite again, keep biting until they’re too busy bleeding to death to explain themselves’ method.”
“It if ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” I shot back.

Nick was the perfect Beta to Maggie’s Alpha. He’s no wimp, but I loved that his nerdy obsession with fantasy and werewolves made him well-suited to Maggie’s overbearing personality. Nick was hilarious; referencing Star Trek and Doctor Who and just being generally geeky-gorgeous. Harper writes a bit of a dark back story for Nick, which felt under-developed and seemed to halt mid-way, but overall I loved him and I adored him with Maggie.

Molly Haprer has her tongue firmly in cheek throughout a lot of the ‘Naked Werewolf’ series. I love that Harper adopts a funny-blasé attitude to a lot of werewolf mythology, allowing her to answer and explore a lot of interesting lore. She explores pack dynamics, mating rituals, the possibility of other were-animals . . . while also answering a lot of regular, every-day questions associated with turning furry. These conundrums are the sort of thing only a comedic writer can explore, in all their unperturbed hilarity;

You would think it would be weird to see your male relatives running around naked all the time, but really you stop noticing. It’s sort of sad, really. You’ve seen one penis, you’ve seen them all.
I had to stop saying that in front of my mother, because she said it was something a hooker would put on a business card.

If I have any complaint about this instalment, it’s that Harper appears to have wrapped the series up in two books. There was a strong possibility of two werewolf characters, Samson and Clay, getting their own books and romances . . . but Harper effectively nixes that idea by the end of ‘Seducing’, which is a shame. Samson was Podunk-hilarious; while Clay had an intense, smouldering thing going on . . . I would have loved it if this series continued on past two books to encompass their HEA.

Molly Harper is the queen of the funny paranormal romance. She absolutely excels in the ‘Naked Werewolf’ series – writing irreverently funny and furry romances. I wish the series was going to continue past these two books, but I can’t see that happening with how Harper neatly ties-off ‘The Art of Seducing’. Still, this was a wacky-gorgeous series and it cements Molly Harper as one of my all-time favourite authors.

The Art of Seducing a Naked Werewolf is book 2 in the Naked Werewolf series by Molly Harper. First, I want to say again that I just love this series. The Graham family with all their wolfiness will forever hold a special place in my heart. The 4 star rating is really more a 4.5 and the ONLY reason it wasn’t a 5 like the other two books is that I didn’t feel that obsessed feeling while reading it like I did the others. And after much thought, I believe the reason is that this story focuses on Maggie, Cooper’s little sister and the female alpha leader of their pack. I think that I just didn’t obsess over her as much as I did the male werewolves in the family in the other books with their big hands and big feet (wink, wink!)



Maggie Graham has won the position of alpha of her pack. She has to fight every day to retain the respect of her pack members. Part of the responsibility she feels is to choose a mate that is also a werewolf, to produce children that will continue the family line. But then the very handsome Nick Thatcher, PHD shows up in town. Nick wants to study werewolf folklore. There is an instant attraction but Maggie does everything in her power to stay away from him and chase him out of town, but he’s not going anywhere.

“As a matter of fact, the idea that he’s trying to exploit innocent furred people instead of modeling for underwear ads – the way God obviously intended – is reason enough to kill him.”

At the same time, a series of incidents begin happening, and Maggie has to protect her family, her pack. But who would do these things? Maggie is a tough, snarky girl struggling to lead her pack and at the same time, falling in love for the first time. We get plenty of time with Mo and Cooper from the first book as well as the rest of the Graham family. This series is so much fun. And again, you think you might have it figured out but Molly Harper doesn’t reveal who is terrorizing the pack until the final few pages and I was on the edge of my seat.

This series is best if read in order. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a sweet, fun, wolfy and suspenseful book. Molly Harper, you’re the best!!!

This was not as good as the first book in this series, mainly because of Maggie. I didn't liked her when she was first introduced as Cooper's obnoxious sister and her character didn't improved much in this. I don't know what Nick saw in her. Now Nick I liked, a lot. Sweet, nerdy and super smart. I didn't felt any connection between them. There was so much going on in the story, the romance part was eclipsed by all of it. Loved reading about Cooper and Mo and their little pup Eva. And I missed the residence of Grundy, especially Evie, Buzz and Alan. I wish Molly had given a bit more about Alan and Kara.

I really liked this one. I didn't think I'd like having a female be the super strong one but it was really pretty great!

This is the second book in the "Naked Werewolf" series. The first one was awesome. Funny and exciting and sweet. Loved it! This one had, I think, a lot more action. Maggie Graham is the new official alpha of the pack of Werewolves that live near Grundy, Alaska. Her brother, Cooper, was slated to be the alpha but some bad stuff went down and he stayed away from the pack for years. Only recently, did everyone realize that the guy who was acting as temporary packmaster was a murdering psychopath. He was put down in book 1 and Cooper gave the alpha-ship to his younger sister Maggie. She's doing her best and doing what she thinks is right and she's doing a pretty good job! Not everyone thinks so though. Especially, since someone is taking shots at her pack mates and trying to set her office on fire!! On top of that, her family and her pack are pressuring her to settle down, be mated and have pups. PLUS, an outsider, Nick Thatcher, a research scientist, arrives in town, wanting to do research on lycanthropes, and he is SUPER handsome and smart and sweet and he is exactly what Maggie needs to stay away from!! But as the alpha, she has to deal with this guy and make sure that he doesn't see anything that will give away their secret!!

This was a very fun read. Maggie is not your typical romance heroine. She's tough and unemotional and extremely practical. I didn't find her very soft or feminie at all. But you still like her a lot. She really is doing her best and doing what she thinks is best for the pack. She puts her own wants and needs aside to do what's best for her pack, her family and her friends. And when she starts to want and need Nick, she starts having a tough time.

Maggie is smart and funny and takes ZERO shit!!! Until she meets Nick. Nick gives as good as Maggie does and I think that makes them a great couple!!

I would recommend this book. Reading book one isn't absolutely necessary but it will enhance your enjoyment of Cooper and Cooper's wife, Mo's relationship and the relationship between Maggie and Cooper. I will be continuing this series!! :)

I am hot and cold over this book. Some things I absolutely loved, and others were a bit stale.

I wish the title of this had been different. Something like "the art of seducing and ornerier (testy) werewolf" or something to that effect would have been a bit better fitting, I think.

The first thing that really excited me about this book was the female alpha. We so rarely see that. But it didn't quite play out as well as I thought it might. She didn't come across as powerful as male werewolves tend to and it's difficult for me to discern whether that is Harper's type of alpha or if it was because of her gender.

I liked the end of the book - I didn't see a lot of things coming, and more than that the details aren't really something that you can guess, even if you do correctly guess how things are going to go. There were quite a few things that caught me off guard in this story and I really liked those twists. I think Harper did a great job in that respect.

In this book, I really started to see that Harper's heroines all tend to be quite alike with small differences. My favourite will always be Jane, the reluctant vamp in Harper's Nice Girls... series (hands down, Jane is hilarious). I'd love to see Harper write a girly girly character as a heroine. It'd be a nice change.

I liked seeing more of Cooper and Mo again because they actually played a role in the storyline rather than just being thrown into the story so that the reader can see them again (that sort of thing happens all too often in other series). I also liked seeing more of Cooper's mom and the were pack.

It wouldn't hurt for Harper to throw in a romantic subplot into these tales. I hated how we didn't get to see Mo's best friend hook up with the cop, even if there was no conflict there it would have been nice to see a little more of them. I just think the reader could benefit from a little break from the main characters now and again.

The unexpected plot details elevate this book to 4/5 rating.

I think this one is closer to 3.5 stars, but I just couldn't give it the full 4. I loved the first one, but this one was a bit disappointing because the 180 Maggie pulls on her feelings for Nick. It really was a good story & I loved the characters, but I had issues with the plot. Still a fantastic author & I fully intend to read everything she puts out.

3.5 - Funnier than the first one but also more predictable so I am leaving this at 3 stars. Again I am surprised how much I enjoyed this so far! It is so different from other books in the same category.
I still liked Mo & Cooper more but Maggie & Nick were funnier!
I am going to continue this series and also try others from this author.

I didn't like the heroine and the book was from her POV . She suppose to be the alpha of her pack , but she is weak and unsure of herself. There wasn't much of the hero in the book.

I love Molly Harper and Amanda Ronconi just does an awesome job with the narration. If you haven't dived into the world of Half Moon Hollow.... stop what you are doing and go start.....

Re-read in October 2018 - I need more books where the alpha of the (werewolf) pack is a woman!! I loved Maggie so much. And Nick, oh my. Any guy who sends baked goods instead of flowers is a hero in my book. <3

I like this author very much. Her books are so funny, entertaining and well written. I will definitely read all the others. The characters are so interesting and I love their dialogues.
