Meatloaf is a handy way to stretch your meat budget to produce one or two meals for the whole family. If you live alone, you can package and freeze servings to eat throughout the month or take to work as a sandwich or a meal with something else. Meatloaf sandwiches are wonderful the next day, so leftovers are never an issue.
This cookbook has a lot of tasty varieties of meatloaf, and I've been working my way through them.
I love meatloaf and there seems to be some very interesting ones here, especially the Mexicali meatloaf, the cornbread and jalapeno meatloaf, and the slow-cooker burgundy meatloaf. I haven't tried any yet so the three star rating may go up (or down) once I cook a few.
Best thing about this cookbook so far? It's still a free kindle download!
Update: Now it's 99 cents. Still worth it at that price.
I like the different simple ways to make meatloaf..... my favorite is the one w/ mashed potatoes inside! If U enjoy a good meatloaf and don't have lots of time UR gonna love this book! Also, it is FREE on Kindle!
I enjoy meatloaf and was happy to find this cookbook with some variety to one of my favorite meals. I have only tried two of the recipes and they were both excellent & have another planned for later today.
I found more choices I'd like to try in this cookbook than the other two in the collection. I'm not a fan of meatloaf, maybe I just never had a good one, but I'm willing to give one or two a go.
