VVBG (Very Very Bad Girls) is the award-winning creative duo consisting of Archia, the artist and part-time writer, and Michi, the writer and part-time art consultant.
Two soulmates brought together by their love of story, Archia and Michi enjoy telling complicated m/m romances that focus on flawed characters in challenging situations, who overcome wild obstacles to earn their happy ending.
3.5 Jason's a cyborg cinnamon roll, a precious and sexy weapon of mass destruction, a femme twink and together with his brothers built to annihilate human mankind. So what's Blaze to do than board the alien space ship and destroy the breeding tanks and it's not his fault if that's a last minute mission. Could have happened to anyone that the last capsule opens right after he destroyed all the other ones and big lavender eyes, innocent and oh so tempting are looking at him. He should have known better but what disaster can possibly happen if such a fragile looking guy survives? Famous last words while opening a different can of worms with a newly born cyborg imprinting on a rogue loner, a commitment-phobic Blaze starting to care about naive Jason and half a galaxy coming between Blaze and his intentions to do the right thing.
Born Sexy Tomorrow is like 'Han Solo meets The 5th Element – Gay Edition', an action packed distraction and the start of a complicated whirlwind of a romance. It's easy to read and nice to look at, a popcorn movie in book form and a quirky smile away from an awkward happy ending. It's the first book of a series, so flying into the sunset together at the end of the book is not the HEA yet.
The enjoyment heavily depends on how you look at Jason. It's never mentioned how old he is supposed to be and with his naive twinkishness it could create a completely different picture but remembering how manga artist like to express innocence I gave it the benefit of the doubt.
I’m going to start by saying J-450N (known as Jason) is absolutely precious. He was by far the best part of this story, and each time he was on page I couldn’t help but smile. Blaze was a bit of a harder sell. He was arrogant and in denial of his feelings for almost the entire book. To the extent that he frequently sleeps with other characters in the book. I understand that’s part of his characterization, and it’s clear he’s running from his feelings. I honestly wouldn’t have minded it as much if there had been more bonding time between Jason and Blaze. This is marked as volume 1, but to my understanding the webtoon is on hiatus, so it’s unclear whether we’ll ever get more. The ending is satisfying enough that it could stand on its own, but I’m still hopeful for more. I can see myself rooting for this couple in future adventures.
What a name. BST follows the amazingly named Blaze Galaxy, who is unsurprisingly a very Star Lord character that’s been imprinted on by an adorable android that gives off a mix of Mega Man and Chobits.
Blaze ends up with Jason as a companion while on a mission meant to end with him destroying all the human killing androids that Jason was apart of. I really especially loved the silly scene that came from this of Blaze breaking Jason out of his initial programming by confusing it.
While it seems to be planting the seeds towards a redemption arc for Blaze as inspired by Jason the android, it’s very slow going in this collection. Blaze is properly shitty the whole time with only moments of inner turmoil and small hints at growth. I do appreciate this if handled well in future volumes as I’ve had proper time to be mad at Blaze and it’s definitely showing more than just telling about him.
I will say sometimes details are dropped that I’d love more details to exactly how (like what do you mean Blaze is 56 years old!?), but I also appreciate the comic knows its readers are smart and can make educated guesses on these.

Recensione in italiano. Se qualcuno vuol far polemica, che usi Google Translate. A meno che non mi metta di impegno e cominci a scrivere le recensioni possibilmente problematiche in friulano, così non c'è Google che tenga.
NO!
Per tutta una serie di ragioni.
1. Perché il protagonista maschile deve avere 56 e mostrarne trenta? Solo per essere moderni e non discriminare? E perché deve assomigliare in certi atteggiamenti così tanto a Peter Quill? E perché dev'essere così antipatico?
I was excited for this BL graphic novel and maybe my expectations were too high. I got a third of the way through and put it down for nearly a year.
On the plus side, it's in full color and has a space opera setting that is extremely rare in yaoi. The anti-hero is a Star Lord type (Blaze Galaxy!) who is as much a criminal as hero.
On the downside, the love interest is a cyborg killing machine (Jason) who imprints on the hero when he's "born" and remains one dimensional. The book is a series of adventures showcasing how Blaze is an asshole (sleeps around, knocks a guy up, gambles) and that could have worked if the love story or Jason had any substance. But Blaze has none of the charm of a Han Solo or Star Lord. Overall disappointing for me, but I will try more from this publisher.
I genuinely enjoyed this! While the idea isn't anything especially new, it was fun, and I think that the characters worked well together. The art was probably the standout here, vibrant and clear in all the best areas, and I found myself going back to panels just to admire some of those space background shots. There are a few scenes that some might consider "spicy", but I still think it fits into what I'd expect for a movie rated PG-13, there's nothing explicit and everything is tastefully hidden. Ultimately, this was a pretty good time! Funny, romantic, and a great adventure.
I can’t wait for season 2! There is still stuff to be resolved and Blaze seriously needs to work through his feelings and trauma cause he’s hurting everyone left and right. Ivon deserved so much more he didn’t deserve to be used by Blaze the way he was. Jason is so cute I hope he ends up happy.
