The Book of Lilith

The book retells the myth of Lilith as it has never been told before, from her point of view. It is a book that will make you laugh, and make you think.

Nicholas Reardon

My latest book which has been lovingly set free to find its way in the world is called :
A Girls Guide to Guys: Meeting Them, Managing Them and All That Love Stuff Which has its own website called www.gabby-guides.com this book is a must for any girl between 13 and 113

They say everyone has a book in them but that does not mean the book should every escape the mad dark interior of the mind and see the light of day and being let free to frighten the world and as an example for fun I write strange and very odd books like:
Love of Chocolate and has a website called www.chocolatemanga.com For some reason teenage girls like it why I do not know as I did not write it for them but if you are not one then you probably won’t like it, it is written like a Japanese Anime film (but without the subtitles) it has lots of full colour manga art (because I like manga art) to confuse the reader as to what the characters look like, so don’t blame me if you buy it and do not like it.

I design and publish real books like Nimrod Illustrated: Pictures from Lieutenant Shackleton's British Antarctic Expeditionand Discovery Illustrated: also Pictures from Captain Scott's First Antarctic Expedition The Antarctic Journals of Reginald Skelton: Another Little Job for the Tinker which can be seen at www.antarcticbookshop.com this site will show you what real books I publish look like.

Just wanted to take a moment to say congratulations to Shane on an awesome achievement. A round of applause and a toast for those of you who wish, to Shane.

COBOURG WRITER SHANE JOSEPH’S NOVEL AFTER THE FLOOD WINS NATIONAL AWARD

Cobourg – Shane Joseph’s “dystopian novel of hope” After the Flood won in the Futuristic/Fantasy category at The Word Guild Canadian Christian Writing Awards on June 16th 2010 in Mississauga, Ontario.

Joseph, a graduate of the Humber School for Writers, has two other published books: Redemption in Paradise (2004) and Fringe Dwellers (2008). His short fiction has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies in Canada, India, Sri Lanka and the USA. His blog at www.shanejoseph.com is widely syndicated.

Joseph’s novel portrays a dramatically altered North America in the aftermath of a giant flood, which is forecast to take place in 2012. His focus is on how mankind regroups to build a better world but remains hobbled by an ingrained trait – desire. Critics have described the book as Noah’s Ark meets Samson & Delilah at Camelot in the Brave New World.

The Word Guild black-tie Awards Gala was held at World Vision's headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario, to which the public was invited. The Gala is the premier event honouring the work of Canadian writers who are Christian. It was hosted by Herbie Kuhn, popular speaker and in-house announcer for the Toronto Raptors basketball team.

The contest received a record number of 245 entries from writers in eight provinces. The 34 award categories include non-fiction books, novels, articles, columns, poems and song lyrics.

“I am grateful to The Word Guild for honouring me with this award,” Joseph said. “Writers are supposed to get their reward only in heaven, but it is nice to get small doses of it on earth, occasionally.”

The Word Guild, the organization that sponsors the awards, consists of more than 340 writers and editors across Canada who write from a Christian perspective and publish work in a variety of genres. The Word Guild also sponsors Canada's largest Christian writers' conference, Write! Canada (www.writecanada.org). After the Gala, 250 writers, editors, agents and publishers will meet in Guelph, Ont. from June 17 to 19 for professional development, networking and marketing opportunities.

To see the complete shortlist of finalists, or to obtain more information about the Gala or The Word Guild, visit www.thewordguild.com and www.canadianchristianwritingawards.com

Shane will be one of the authors answering your questions and comments for this week's Author Q&A along with Erma Odrach. Tomorrow I'll send you all the link to that page.

Again, congratulations Shane. A great achievement.

Renee

I remember the picture well. Lilith is one of my characters in 2 vampire books. Learned of several myths about her in 2003. I'm working on another vampire book with Lilith as a sub-character. In my first book Lilith was a "good" mother-type vampire and in the second (the one I'm writing now) she is cunning and vicious. I can't read his book until I've wrapped mine up, which I've just about completed.

"The Rune Witch Series"
on sale NOW!

This is what you've been waiting for...

The HAWT erotica series
with Wynn & Noelle

That's right! The Rune Witch Series trilogy is now available in pdf on my book site and in the Kindle Store. Yay! This is what the series is about:

The Rune Witch Series is an erotica novella trilogy, featuring Noelle (a feisty alpha Rune Witch) and her HAWT boyfriend Wynn (a sexy shapeshifter). Wynn and Noelle appeared in two of The Witchery Series novels (What Witches Want and Call of the Witches) as secondary characters. Now this lusty couple has a series of their own, which takes place during the hot summer months of August and September in sultry South Carolina. Follow these two as they go from one sexcapade to the next, while Wynn tries everything he can think of to convince commitment-phobic Noelle to marry him. Good thing he never plays fair (naughty grin). Keep a cold drink handy for this series. You're gonna need it!

1.) "Sex Magick.........($1.99)
Noelle Wylie is a Rune Witch, and at thirty-five she’s got it all. This year she bought her dream home. Then she let Wynn, her darkly handsome, shapeshifter boyfriend move in. One evening Wynn gives Noelle a book on “sex magick.” Intrigued, she decides to give it a try. However, just as she experiences some of the best sex of her life she discovers Wynn has a hidden agenda. Uh-oh!

2.) "Bewitched at the Beach..........($1.99)
In this erotica novella Wynn is offered a long weekend trip to Hilton Head Island by his vampire boss, Drayton Manigault (from A Vampire's Kiss). Of course, Wynn and Noelle jump at the chance. However the corporate beach house where they spend this three-day sexfest may never be the same again! *lusty grin*

3.) "The Harvest Moon..........($1.99)
After their neighbor, Savannah, has her a handfasting/wedding, Noelle and Wynn are left in charge of cleaning up Savannah’s house. Of course, all work and no play threatens to make Noelle a cranky girl. Horrors! Thankfully, Wynn isn’t about to let that happen, so he seduces her with edible bubble bath, light bondage, sex, sex, and more sex. Everything is coming up roses for those two until Noelle discovers she’s let the cat out of the bag. Kinda.

"Using hot description and erotic romance, Stamps brings to life a funny, new couple with brilliant and smooth writing. Highly recommended. The Rune Witch Series is a must read!" (Lindsay Allison, Book Reviewer for Thoughts From Lindsay)

"Five Alarm hot! FAB-U-LOUS!!!!! I think my monitor just melted. Stamps is entering Lora Leigh territory now. I needed a fire extinguisher for this one! Very, very nice work." (Auntee, #4 Best Reviewer at Goodreads)

Overview Free Preview About the Author Shannon Mallory was a woman on the run….not from outside forces but from her own wounded heart. When she pulled up into the parking lot of “The Last Resort Café’” in the town of “Sanctuary”, little did she know she would find the one thing she never even knew she was searching for….true love.

Seth Proudfoot wasn’t looking for anything, except an end to his miserable existence. Accused of a crime he couldn’t remember committing, he was ostracized by a town that, ironically, bore the name of the one thing he could never find….Sanctuary.

When the two meet, neither can ignore the magnetic pull between them, but will Shannon allow her damaged spirit to trust a man…a man who may have murdered his own family?

Though Shannon is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen, it is her spirit that breaks down the iron-clad shield around his heart. Their desire burns hotter than the Arizona desert, threatening to melt the very mountains that loom like silent Gods above their heads. But can their love survive a betrayal that could very well cost them both their lives?
Her Sanctuary by P.Q. Glisson

John Karr (Karr) | 13 comments I have three books available -- one horror, one medical thriller, one dark heroic fantasy -- that can be viewed here:
http://www.goodreads.com/author/show/...

I have others but they've yet to see the published light of day.

... so I'm taking at least one into my own hands. I will soon to self-publish in electronic format (at first, anyway) a general fiction work about Vincent Van Gogh in modern times. I have no idea if anyone but the author has interest in such.

The premise: Imagine Vincent van Gogh in our modern world, struggling to find love and to support himself through his art. Suppose, during the last year and a half of his life, when he severed part of his ear and committed himself to the insane asylum, he stumbles into the very circumstance he has longed for his entire adult life -- a family. Would his life change for the better, or would his self-destructive tendencies still prevail?

My novel, Vincent Van Gogh, Encore, explores these possibilities.

Am shooting for the anniversary of Vincent's death, July 29, as publication date.

Cliff Scovell (CMScovell) | 6 comments Hello all. My new science fiction novel, Prison Earth - Not Guilty as Charged was released early this year. Sales momentum is starting slow, which is not unusual for a first-time author, but my book was recently selected as a finalist in the 2010 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. It is available on Amazon.com in both the US and UK online stores.

I am currently reading Satan's Chamber. I picked it up at a bookstore and read five pages. I was hooked! If the pace is this fast for the rest of the book, I might not sleep until I'm finished!

If anyone would like to see my writing style, I have four free short stories you can download from my web site.

FROM LeAnn Neal Reilly

I'm very excited about my first professional review last week from the Midwest Book Review (5 stars at Amazon) and wanted to share it with the group:

When the magic ends, you need more to make a relationship remain strong. "The Mermaid's Pendant" draws inspiration from the Little Mermaid to tell a story of the realities of marriage, and what happens when the starting magic ends and the realities of life start to sink in. A beautifully crafted fantasy that shows much symbolism and wisdom, "The Mermaid's Pendant" is a fine pick that shouldn't be missed.
