This was a phenomenal book! I'm sure I'm not alone in wondering what happens after we die. Is there another life in some other place, are we reincarnated, or is everything we've each believed in and been taught a big hoax and there is nothing after this life?

Fantastic addition to Catherine's story in Many Lives. After starting to really dive into Weiss' books, and having been doing my own research into these topics by lifestyle, I noticed my focus become sharper in engaging my intuition and seeing more out of my dreams. People have begun to surface in my life that further enhance the ideas he covers in these books. Very well written account of two patients who discover they have lived before and how their psychotherapist tries to get them together once he realizes they are actually soulmates. This book simply confirms what I already suspected about souls and what happens when we leave our bodies and go on to the afterlife. This is a fascinating account of two people who experienced a past lifetime together. Each had recalled memories of the same scenario from that past lifetime, and were reunited through the psychologist who had been working with regressions for each person, on a separate basis.
Once I picked this up, I couldn't put it down. It was an amazing account without being too mushing or over-dramatic.

I'm overwhelmed and mystified after reading this. Although skeptical about lot of things related in the book, the romantic in me enjoyed the read. Some of the ideas were gooseflesh inducing. There were several instances that contradicted the theory or reasoning of 're-incarnation' and 'God'. There are simple truths to be learned or be reminded of. therefore I will recommend the book for anyone interested.
I have read this book... and I just loved this book... I bet you wont stop reading , can say that as this is the only novel I have ever read completely or you can say My first novel ever.... I never use to read novels earlier but this book had made me fan of Dr. Brian Weiss..

Sort of read like fiction. There were nice quotes at the beginning of each chapter.
I believe in soulmates but I don't know if I believe in recycling of souls, so it was hard for me to read this. I wanted it to go into more depth about how you were for sure the person you loved WAS your true soulmate.

If this was a work of fiction I would have scoffed at the idea of "love through out time". It's a little Nora Roberts for me, but this is all true which makes it a very sweet story. I just wish Weiss would have concentrated on the love story. This book was not as good as his other work but the basic story and the concept of love that travels through time held my attention.
This book effected me. It deepened my spirituality and gave me a sense of zen. Dr. Weiss not only talks about soul mates but about how life is timeless which reminds me to not be so impatient. After reading this book I feel like Gregor is a true gift to me in this lifetime. I could relate to the idea that you feel like you truly know someone early on in your relationship and that the both of you just understand eachother deeply. It's a fast, easy read and I highly recommend it.
Another good book from Dr Weiss. His first book is still #1 for me but this was interesting and enlightening too. I love his writing style. Very to the point and poetic at the same time. I look forward to reading more of his books and growing in accordance.
I loved Many Lives, Many Masters so I thought I would gush over this book as well. I did really enjoy it, but somehow I guess I was expecting something different. In this book, there is a lot more insight and information about hypnotherapy and past life regression therapy which I find extremely interesting! Hate to admit this, but I've been all over these books. I'm like someone dying from starvation who steals a cake instead of veggies and grains, and then shoves the whole thing into her mouth in one sitting. And then vomits and dies.
i have read this in the past and have forgotten how good and thought provocing his stuff is, i have recently acquired an audio version of a hypnosis for regressional therapy by the same author, not tried it yet but i will.
This book was recommended by a friend. It was the right book to read at the right time for me. It won't be that way for everyone. I found it to be insightful into various ways to help with healing.
I've always felt that I had been here before, and this book was a bit like finding out something you thought was true really was. It certainly puts our concept of time into a whole new perspective.

Like my friend Kelly said, this book puts everything out there without being too woo-woo. It makes sense of a lot of things in the bigger picture and is an amazing story at the same time.
I really loved this book. Do I believe in re-incarnation? No! But I do believe that God leads you where you should go in life and to whom you should be with.
It just sounds soppy, but it actually isn't. Its a perfect example of how love needn't be the romantic kind to be enduring, and how "soulmates" do not automatically HAVE to be construed at "lovers".

I was enthralled by this book. So many thoughts, experiences, and personal predictions and theories were validated in this novel. I must read Weiss' first two.
The book is still well written, Weiss style, but the content is just ok. The clients he worked with were all interesting but I just couldn't get into it.
