I love reading this book to my daughter. Now she wants a microscope for Christmas. I know I've done something right in raising her!
Love it! It's like a recap from Biology class that I snoozed through in Junior High. Dr Seuss made it much more interesting to learn than my teacher.

My son is 4 years old. I purchased this book for him yesterday.
I hoped it would peak his interest of the way the human body works.
I was happily right!
The rhymes and ease of rhythms in the book help children's curiosity grow, regarding the human body and it's many purposes.
Some of the systems discussed in playful and educational terms are; The Brain and Nervous, Endocrine, Digestive, Bone and Muscular Anatomy and Circulatory Systems.
The five senses are also explored!
I would recommend this book f

Kids loved it. Lots of information, new things to learn, and fun read.
This book would be ideal for 2nd-5th grade. It explains the functions of the inner workings of a human body. It is entertaining and easy to understand. I would use this book in the explain portion of a 5E lesson plan as it introduces vocabulary and new concepts that students wouldn't be able to figure out because... well, we can't actually poke and prod around inside of our bodies to figure out how things work. I'd also recommend this book as a resource for students to use when conducting resear ...more

Lexile Measure 660.

Accelerated Reading Level 3.7. The Cat in the Hat takes two kids on a ride through his Inside Your Outside machine. The children learn all about human anatomy (bones, muscles, organs). The text is written in Dr. Seuss style rhyming which makes it easy to follow.

This book is great for grades K-3 or any class learning about anatomy.

In this riveting sequel to the original Cat in the Hat, the Cat in the Hat explores human sexuality through a series of mildly pornagraphic scenes. The big surrise at the end...the Cat in the Hat has a 10" schlong.

I loved this book! :-)

Really cool, great simple information. Great to teach children how their body works through rhyme! Recommended! I learnt something too.

Another great Dr. Suess book dealing with science. This story explains anatomy for younger grades. It discusses the body, how its made and its many functions.
Covers soooo much (and in rhythm!) everything from white blood cells to urine is cover in a fun, yet mature manner. Suggest you share with the kid in your life.

I picked this up for my son at the Bodies exhibit in Vegas. It was a good choice. He's picked this one out for story time over and over again.
The pictures & text are great educational tools for children to learm more about what their bodies are like inside.
My three-year-old loves this book!!! It is a nice intro to bodily functions and the illustrations are fun.
