Crawlers

If one mixed "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" with a bloody high tech thriller (itself a mix) you'd have a good sense of "Crawlers." Something is taking over a small California town. Are the people who suspect something paranoid or do they see the wo...more

Red Planet Blues
by Robert J. Sawyer

God Laughs When You Die
by Michael Boatman
read in April, 2013
I've enjoyed Michael Boatman the actor but this collection of his horror tales was somewhat uneven. There were a few good stories so I wasn't sorry I read it but it doesn't make me want to seek out more.

Daniel For the record, "Isn't It Romantic?" is little more than an elaborate greeting card version of the coffee table book "Love Stories." Even though I also edited a workbook for the Federation of Jewish Men's Clubs, I consider my official book count as "four." :)

Phillip rob schneider...you have my condolences, daniel
and, damn dude, how many books have you written?
stop slacking off, will you?

; )

Daniel Not "were." Still am.

It means giving up your freedom of choice. I can still see what movies I want to see, but it's been a long time since I've had much control over having to watch the movies I don't want to see. Shlock horror, kiddie films, movies with Adam Sandler or Rob Schneider, I pretty much see almost everything. (Stuff does slip through the cracks, but only because I'm not reviewing it.)

Daniel So.. you were a film critic. What is it like?
