Currently completing a manuscript of poems set in Colombia. This summer I had the privilege of receiving critique on it from the fantastic poet Martín Espada & four wonderful poet-classmates, & now I'm in a juicy, satisfying time of making revisions & writing new poems to complete the set.


Bread & butter work: editor at a university press. Perfect work for a hopelessly word-obsessed person.


Social justice work: currently focused on opposing "free trade" agreements between Colombia & rich northern countries, as they are set up to strengthen & deepen socioeconomic inequalities. Not to mention wreaking serious environmental harm, encroaching on national sovereignty, & doing other nasty things.
