I don't understand the positive comments about the book.
It is almost half of a normal intro programming book.
Most of the thins could be obtained by well performed search.

I checked out this book to see if I could recommend it to my students. The basic concepts of programming are very well explained and it can be a great starting point for beginners. Those who have been writing code in other languages may find it a little too basic.
