Erich Wolf Segal was an American author, screenwriter, and educator. He was best-known for writing the novel Love Story, a bestseller, and writing the motion picture of the same name, which was a major hit.

Oj, tror aldrig jag har varit så här splittrad över en bok. På många sätt älskade jag den - bra skriven, underhållande story, komplicerade karaktärer och resa genom fem mäns liv. Är bara få saker som jag tyckte om, men de fanns också negativa aspekter med boken (såklart) så som - Sexsim, ingen stark kvinnlig karaktär och rushen igenom collage åren.

Men overall skulle jag säga att boken var bra, det var förfriskande att våra huvudkaraktärer inte var några änglar, snarare tvärt om. Det gjorde att de kändes allt mer mänsklig.

Jag hade en otroligt hat-kärlek till att vi fick följa dom under 25-års tid, det gick för fort i boken; Andrews dagbok skulle vara en form utav ”koll” för läsaren men den var verkligen medioker på det.

För att avsluta måste jag dock ge Erich Segal att han har skrivit en otroligt intressant bok som jag egentligen aldrig kände uttråkade mig. Hans kreativa sätt att skriva på - och roliga kommentarer - gav boken något jag tycker mig sakna i många andra böcker - fyllighet.
