Autorkę znam, ma swój schemat, więc już raczej nie zaskoczy po kolejnej przeczytanej książce, co nie znaczy że jest źle bo SEP bardzo lubię, jest slow burn a to już w ogóle mnie kupuje od pierwszych stron. Jak zawsze występują bohaterowie poboczni, co jest naprawdę super i nie raz ścisnęło mi się serducho przez Lucy. Mat przypadł mi do gustu, co prawda zawód dziennikarza jest przeze mnie nielubiany w historiach ale tutaj mi nie przeszkadzał. Nealy chociaż przez większość książki fajna, tak pod koniec jakoś mnie wkurzała, chyba pierwszy raz u SEP uważam, że bohater nie powinien się czołgać. Jak zawsze polecam :)

"Pierwsza dama" tak samo zresztą jak "Z miłości" w oryginale była zaliczana do serii "Wynette, Texas". I zdecydowanie i w języku polskim powinna, ponieważ jest to historia rodziców głównej bohaterki "Panna młoda ucieka".

I tutaj mamy okazję poznać osobę rozpoznawalną. Tyle że już nie jest to aktorka a wdowa po prezydencie USA, kobieta, która już od małego była uczona nienagannego zachowania. W pewnym momencie ma już tak dość swojego życia, tego, że jest ciągle na świeczniku i nie może być zwykłą obywatelką, że ucieka z białego domu, nie mówiąc nikomu dokąd się udaje. W pewnym momencie jednak zostaje bez pieniędzy i samochodu, więc dołącza do dopiero co poznanego mężczyzny z dwójką dzieci jako niania.

Książka bardzo dobrze opisuje to, z czym zmagają się osoby uprzywilejowane. Nam, może się wydawać, że ich życie jest bardzo fajne, jednak po przeczytaniu tego typu powieści przekonujemy się, a przynajmniej ja się przekonuję, że takie życie nie ma samych plusów, a posiada też sporo minusów.

Z bohaterów tej książki to chyba najbardziej polubiłam Lucy i Dolepkę. Oczywiście Nealy i Matt też są fajnymi, dobrze napisanymi postaciami, ale to zdecydowanie te dwie bezbronne dziewczynki skradły całe show.

Czy książkę polecam? Oczywiście, że tak! Zresztą, jak wszystkie tej autorki. Chociaż pewnie nie wszystkim będzie się podobać tak jak mi, mam nadzieję, że znajdzie swoich fanów.
