2009년엔가 부산보수동 책방골목에서 산 헌책. 유명한 책이고 원서읽기 속도를 높이려고 책장에 잠자던 책을 집었지만 결과적으로 나한텐 미스였음. 추리소설인데 이렇게 궁금하지 않다니..문장이 어려워서가 아니라 궁금하지 않아서 1년동안 질질끌며 읽었다. 도입부만 눈길을 끌뿐 예상외의 결말도 없고 그렇다. 마크가 선택할 수 있는 옵션은 결국 하나뿐. 영화도 같이 보았는데 소설을 충실히 따르지만 막판에 다른 부분도 있다. 영화나 소설이나 공통점은 헐리웃 영화 특유의 마무리 ㅋㅋ 젊은 나이에 사망한 브렌던 렌프로의 어린 모습을 보고 참 안타까웠다. 이렇게 귀엽고 연기도 잘했는데 왜 마약에 손을 대서ㅠㅠ
