I've looked through this entire cookbook, so many yummy looking cookies, bars, and muffins. The few recipes I've tried so far were clear, easy to follow, and came out as pictured, or real close.
Grandma's Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cookies These cookies were a hit. Delicious. They were a little flatter than I would have liked, however. I like my oatmeal cookies clumpy, with oatmeal chunks. Perhaps it was the shortening?
Pastel Mint Swirls I love this recipe, so easy. Instead of pastel mint chips, I used Christmas colored chocolate chips. They came out beautifully. They were almost too pretty to eat. Almost.
Holiday Sugar Cookies This recipe is very good. I would recommend keeping the dough refrigerated until you're ready to roll and cut, as it gets too soft too quickly.
Chippy Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies These came out very nice, delicious! My only complaint, so much cookie dough. I suppose I could have cut the recipe, but I didn't want partially empty bags of chips.
