Excelente leitura de referência, várias receitas fáceis, médias e difíceis de fazer. Dá pra usar de livro de cabeceira para cervejeiros artesanais tranquilamente.
I liked "The Complete Joy of Homebrewing" much better, because it started off with the basics and then gave you much, much more information later on if and when you wanted it. This book contained a lot of vague information and very high-level overviews without much actual substance, and certainly no unique information. I think if it had been much more focused instead of trying to say something about everything, it would have been a much better book, but then it might not have even had enough material to warrant a whole book.
Good book that covers many of the basic and more complex aspects of brewing beer. Definitely focused on the science side more than the art of brewing, but to be good at the art you need to understand the science. Some of the material is dated and there are books out there that cover more modern brewing techniques, but the information presented in this volume is still sound advice.
Great reference book for any home brewer. A little difficult to read because of its reference book style. Some chapters/information seemed redundant, and much more in depth than this home brewer needed. That being said, it has great information, including charts and tables that can help troubleshoot or dial in your brew. Definitely a great resource to have on the shelf.
