Strings of Magic
In a world where witches live among humans, Oliva Lockhart keeps her magical traits a tight-lipped secret. I was given this as an ARC. First off, Karli did it yet again. She made me have all the feels. This book has it. Laughter, sass, anger, tears, tension, sex(those scenes;OMG! I believe would make Ms. Grey blush!), and just the genuine love. Karli has this way of making you fall in love with her characters. No matter if they are the main ones or secondary. Hell, I even cared about the villain of the story. Want to know more Liv and Luke's story? Grab your copy! I promise you won't be disappointed!

Wow! This book and these characters. This was such a great, new story-line for a book. So original. Plus it has witches & music. SOLD!!

Wow, Karli Rush has done ut again. She took me on a magical and emotional journey.
Imagine loosing your soul mate, the unimaginable gaping hole in your heart and reliving the moments together daily, knowing that you'll never get to make more. That you're left to live without that person. You know that he'd want you to be happy but how do you move on, without feeling guilty for it?
Then one day you get knocked sideways by someone and you don't know how to handle it. Someone that sings to your soul....literally. You feel violated and intrigued. He understands your pain but should you let him in? Everyone says "move on" and give him a chance. Can you trust your heart with someone else?
Liv has met her match...again...possibly. Lead singer of the Spell Casters, Luke, has the voice that can capture you immediately and the words he sings you feel like we're written for you. When he opens his mouth and sings you feel like you're not alone in your feelings, you feel like someone understands. But would you feel violated? Liv knows he's up to something and wants to "out" his method. But... in doing so would she be forced to feel things again. That giant wall she built around her heart may not be as hard. Meanwhile Luke can't explain the sudden need to be near her, even though she infuriates him. He wants to break through that wall, but then what?
Will they come to terms or blows? Will they find peace or passion?
I'm not going to spoil it. What I can say is that Karli takes you on this ride of love and loss with some magic thrown in. Her ability to make you feel everything and make you look at the characters as though they're your friends is a special talent. Like I said before... Karli Rush has done it again. This story is full of surprises with twists and turns that actually surprised me and kept me reading wondering what would happen next. Liv is young and widowed and a Witch left heartbroken. Enter a male witch full of surprises and a depth of understanding. Characters full of depth and you can feel their emotions as you read. Wonderful witchy love story with surprise adventures and twists that take you into the feeling of the witches of old that lived in fear and the witches of today that live their every day lives among mortals. I can't give enough praise for this story. It has love interests, surprises, villains, and history all rolled into a story that kept me guessing and enthralled. Read Strings of Magic and feel all the goodness a story can share.

Wow! More! I need more! This is my first book by Karli Rush but it won't be my last.
I loved the story line, the slow burn romance at first then how everything collided just like a supernova!
Oh my! Liv and Luke are hotter than a house a'fire! I absolutely loved this book. Everything was perfect. I was never bored and I could not put it down. The only downside to this book was that it ended!
I need more Luke and Liv! I'm seriously thinking about re-reading this book again and honestly, that's rare for me.
The only caution I have for anyone before reading this book is that it contains a lot of F bombs.

The characters are very likable, almost real. I was so interested I finished it in just 2 days. There is a very cool ot twist. It made we want to know more of how things turned out. I can't wait for more!!!

An awesome story that will have you hooked from start until the very end!
As soon as you get just a few pages in you already feel connected to the story and the characters! The world you're currently in starts to fade away and you feel like you've stepped into theirs!
You feel every emotion the characters are putting out there! The story is so addictive! You'll begin to turn the pages faster just to find out what's coming next! I enjoyed every aspect of the hook and I think the author did a fantastic job from the world building, choosing the characters and bringing them togetherness!! The story just flows so effortlessly and you feel all the emotions!
Let's talk about those characters! LOL
Liv and her sisters are so much fun the jokes they play on each other ... EPIC!!! And will have you in tears from laughing so hard!
Liv is an amazing character.. shes sassy and fierce.. and has this incredible strength about her! I liked this book, but if I’m being honest, it just didn’t strike the perfect note for me. The writing was good, the characters were interesting but I just didn’t connect well. What I liked: the relationship between the siters was very relatable, the heat between the main characters was notable, and there were some unexpected twists in the story.
What I struggled with: the main characters “fall in love” pretty much instantly to the tune of making an life-long commitment with in like two weeks, there was very little explanation of the way magic worked in the setting, and the story itself is a bit choppy.
Worth reading if you like steamy romances and a little magic.
