UNIX in a Nutshell is the most comprehensive quickref on the market, a must for any UNIX user.
I carried this book everywhere during my undergrad studying Computer Science. This book while not perfect was essential for me when I started out learning Unix tools and commands on my own. Whenever I would pull up terminal, I would pull out this book and learn a few more commands that would help my process flow while programming. This book means a lot to me, I still keep it around to read some of the scribbles that I added to the book when I was just learning UNIX systems.
