When it comes to Children's books, I feel that the 7 to 9 year age group is probably the most neglected. The babies and toddler phase is over yet they are not of high-school-age yet. They are kind of like the inbetweeners.
However, this is also the age where they are discovering more on their own and in the digital age, it is important to introduce kids to not just tech devices but the technology itself as it is the future.

I think this is a great Children book for kids in Pakistan as we are a growing economy and IT is our export and this presents a promising future for the children.
Overall, this is a good book with clear explanations for young kids to learn about fundamental concepts. It’s not a book that you can go back to day to day just due to it obviously being a static thing. Highly recommended!
Computers and technology have changed our lives and things continue to evolve. Children born today will never know a world without the internet and computers, so it doesn’t seem too strange to try and expose them to these things at an early age because this should benefit and encourage them in the long run. My First Coding Book is a pop-up board book, which is designed for six and seven year olds. It uses colourful illustrations, puzzles, games and other information including some basic concepts from computer programming to teach skills that are becoming increasingly more important.
Presents computer coding concepts on board pages that feature flaps, pull tabs, silders, and wheels, asking readers to build a robot, escape from a jungle, and hunt for bugs. This is book is very essential kids, especially now that coding is on the rise and a core subject that will be taught in schools across the globe. My First Coding Book presents children with the opportunity to get schooled up early in coding, with the use of simplified wording and instructions, and at the same have fun with the flaps, sliders and wheels. A Librarian's Choice book all the way!
While this is a large-size board book, the interactive, slides, wheel, and flaps need that format to function. This is a fun presentation of the basic elements of breaking down a task into all its elements, planning, searching for "bugs," recognizing patterns, planning choices. Could be used as an intro for older students as they work through these steps.
This is an easy to understand and simple book. A quick read and interesting. It gets the point across simply and definitely makes it a little easier to understand the basics of coding. A great first look and intro into the way coding works. Brings back the days when computers were first in school. Great for any age. Enjoy
Love the fun activities with flaps to teach basic coding consepts to kids without a computer or dated technology references (like radio, tapes, etc). It explains concepts simply. Even though over time the child can memorize the solutions, it teaches coding so well I think every child should read this book so its worth adding to your shelf.
Maybe not a book for the littlest of kids, but certainly something I can share with everyone asking me what I'm going to school for.
This is a surprisingly good, interactive book that explains the basics in terms that anyone can understand and make it interesting. I will have to buy this one.
Best book about coding I've ever read. I learned a few things. Granted I have a lot to learn. I feel like my kids and I are learning together. We need more books like this.
