It was pretty straight forward and easy to understand. Most of the concepts I already knew, but there were more complex techniques it was enjoyable to learn if not yet try out myself. It is a textbook I will keep since I continue to use web design and graphics in my profession as a writer and publisher.

Clear and concise textual explanations of XHTML and CSS. Good reference information and examples. A few errors and misleading data but, overall, a very good book on Web design.

Good, but outdated. Latest edition is over $100 so it's worth going for this edition instead. This book is a great resource with a detailed index and extremely handy appendices.
