Now this is "those meddling kids" as I've come to expect them. Fun, fun, and more fun.

(Anyone notice that the robot looks an awful lot like the one in one of the original episodes?)

Such a fun, quick mystery read. Loved watching Scooby Doo growing up and am now reading the books. It’s so nostalgic and perfect for spooky season.

One of the best in the series. It was still formulaic but it felt more like an actual mystery where the hints and conclusion made sense. It was also a slightly different story than the normal formula.

Usual formula. Somehow security Josh turned to Moe in one scene.

Cute story, but I have a hard time believing the culprit would have been able to pull off the heist in the way portrayed. Also, their birthday present was kind of... you really needed to go to a department store for that?

I like the art, though, and I'm sure fans of Scooby-Doo will love this just fine.

We love all things Scooby-Doo, so whenever we find a Scooby-Doo book we haven't read yet at our local library, we just have to borrow it. The stories in the Scooby-Doo! Mysteries series are simple, fun, and we enjoy reading them together. Right now, our girls really like these short chapter books, but they also like the shorter picture books too. We've read over forty of these stories, but there are so many more out there...I think we'll be having fun with these stories for years to come.

This story is rather simple and involves a robot security system at a department store. It was a quick read and we enjoyed reading it together.

I really liked this book because I thought it was funny when they went to the store and all Scooby and Shaggy cared about was going to a cooking show. It was funny because the gang was trying to catch a robot. I don't have a least favourite part for this book.
My favourite characters are Scooby and Shaggy because they are funny funny. My least favourite character was Josh the worker because he dressed up as a robot and tried to steal a lot of things.
People should read this book because it is a funny book.

It's Shaggy's birthday so Fred, Daphne, and Velma are shopping at Howard's department store for Shaggy's birthday present, but a security device robot is on the loose. Will Scooby and the gang figure out who jumped inside the robot costume and who stole the hammer in the hardware isle and the Wellington watch or will Howard's department store close down, because the robots scaring away customers? Find out in Scooby-Doo and the Runaway Robot.

This is a chapter book. The gang go to a mall to shop for Shaggy's birthday in the meantime a Scientist is there trying out his new robot security guard. Several people don't like the new robot and 'someone' is out to make sure not only does the robot 'disappear' but the mall as well. This was an easy to follow story but sometimes it did seem to 'draw out' but was a good story
