Pretty nice chapter, we get the view of the girl and what she is going through.
The psycho escapes prison.
I think that bracelet the girl is wearing might probably be the key that can take you anywhere.
She does not know about it and she doesn't know how to use it.

The last issue was told from Bode's perspective so this time it's Kinsey's turn who's the middle child. All the kids are struggling so it was nice reading about how they are coping and also fun seeing ads for PS2 and Wii games in the issue.

I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to bits, may comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

Pues lo dicho. Los cómics son mucho más oscuros que en la serie y el personaje que le hace al padre lo que le hace, no da cierta penina como en la serie, sino que da un mal fario tremendo. Uf!.
Da miedín.

“They’re going to look. There’s only one thing you have any control over which is what you want them to see when they do.”

— In this issue, we delve into Kinsey’s, the middle child, insecurities. We learn that Kinsey doesn’t exactly feel like herself when she looks into the mirror. She also feels like a coward because she couldn’t be of a bigger help when the attackers went to her family’s summer home.

To try and feel more like herself, Kinsey changes her hair. An even bigger problem arises for the Locke family when one of their attackers is on the loose.

I really enjoyed seeing how Kinsey has been affected by everything that took place in the first comic. I look forward to reading the next issue!

This isn't exactly a placeholder issue, what with the escape and all, and the emphasis on Kinsey is due. The first three issues focus on the three kids, and I can see why - Hill is getting the main characters set up for the readers. Emotionally, it feels a little like a placeholder, though. That doesn't really sound fair, as Kinsey has as much of a right to her trauma as the other two, but there's a small sense of repetition... mostly with the first issue. Kinsey and Ty are much older than Bode, and their responses, by virtue of their age, are more similar than that of their younger brother.

There's also less focus on the house here, and I really enjoy creepy, weird house stories (is the place actually haunted?) so hopefully there's more of that coming.

It continues, even thou there are very few new characters introduce you dont get lost in the story, sometimes its weird how the new Volumen starts, but you can see the intentional difference in the art.

This is the worst issue for now.... the story is stuck and no progress in characters.
I hope the story been more interesting in next issues.

A medida que voy leyendo los volumenes, siento que me voy enriqueciendo de una trama más que interesante y atrapante.

This is a review of the entire series.

The story follows the Locke siblings; the curious young Bode, his rebellious sister Kinsey and his mature brother Tyler. After their father is tragically murdered in a mysterious home invasion, they move to their ancestral home in Lovecraft (a very suitable name for the hellish place they're moving into) with their alcoholic mother. The Locke house holds many strange secrets, keys that unlock forbidden powers and ancient evils never meant to be released. It turns out that the murder of the Locke family's father may not have been a coincidence. There are higher forces at play, manipulating the living from the shadows and orchestrating the downfall of the entire world.

This was a great surprise. I've been reading manga my entire life, but I confess that I never got into American comics and graphic novels (until now that is.) This series managed to win me over and open up an entire new medium of fiction to me. I was impressed by how realistic and human the characters are, there are so many unique people that are developed with utmost respect and is an example of diversity done extremely well. It really does rival the best of Stephen King and other big horror writers of the same ilk. It's got body swapping, spirit battles, mind-bending powers, ghosts and demons, heavy metal culture, blood and guts, tears and trauma, it's a thrilling ride all the way through.

Every volume packed a handful of punches. Volume 4 was the weakest of the series but even that one had a strong finish that eventually led to an even stronger ending. Suffering and grief is portrayed with rich emotion. The character development is moving. The villain is merciless and is actively involved with the plot at all times. All the side characters play a big role in the climactic finale and they all get the satisfying resolutions they deserve. Great series.

Το πρώτο τεύχος έφερε την οπτική γωνία του Τάιλερ. Το δεύτερο του Μποντ. Φαίνεται πως ο Χιλ, όσο καλός κι αν είναι με τα κορίτσια δεν το έχει τόσο όσο με τα αγόρια. Η οπτική γωνία της Κίνσεϋ, αν και καλογραμμένη, δεν είναι τόσο συγκλονιστική όσο οι άλλες δύο. Άραγε θα δούμε και την οπτική γωνία της μαμάς;

Some of the characters feel a bit stock, but the main crew continues to be interesting to watch.
I would hesitate to recommend this series to anyone under 16. The violence and language can be shocking
and unexpected. For older teens and adults this is still great.

J'ai tout simplement dévoré cette série BD en un après-midi. Sombre, bonne intrigue, style visuel intéressant, il y avait tous les éléments nécessaire pour me garder accrochée! J'ai hâte de lire le reste.
