This series is amazing! There is no limit to the creativity and crazy ideas that can be found. After a somewhat weak second chapter, where the ending laid the foundations for a sensational third issue, we were not disappointed at all.

This third volume is crazy and disturbing, especially in the part where Tyler and Kinsey use Bode as a guinea pig to figure out how the head key works. The visual representation of the inside of Bode's head is spectacular, with memories and knowledge and the way in which they can be manipulated. Always present is the treacherous Zack, who continues to have Tyler's trust, unaware of who he really is.

Fucking idiot he can't keep a secret to save his life.
So bode finally got his brother and sister to believe in the keys.
It seems adults can't precieve the power of the keys or something which is weird since the woman dodge staying with can see him come and go with the power of the key.
I wish i had that key though, i wish i had all three keys i can find a use for them.

Forget everything you think you know. This series is amazing. Just when you think you're figuring something out it leaves you with a million more questions. The story is both creepy and captivating. I'm loving every minute of this.

Bode shows Tyler and Kinsey what the Head Key does. The Head Key allows you to look into another person's brain. Tyler uses the Head Key to his advantage: he uses it to stuff a book into his brain, so he can learn two books for his class overnight (or rather in like a minute). At the end, Tyler says he'll show Luke that night how he got his reading done so fast.

This part is significantly different to the Netflix adaptation because Tyler doesn't show anyone about the keys in the adaptation. This is such a good series and very suspenseful. It left me wondering: Does Luke do anything dangerous once Tyler shows him the key? Does Kinsey ever show anyone the keys?

Another great chapter to an amazing series. I love them all!

Seeing Bode unlock and open his head was the coolest part. Seeing all the things going through his mind meld together was creative and “mind-blowing”. -haha

And then seeing his brother do it was crazy in a different way. Seeing all their secrets and thoughts meld together into a collage was pretty cool.

I love the horror comics cover!

”Bode. Could you close your head please.”

Lindsey comes in because of the screaming.

”Don’t do that with your head, Bode. I don’t like it.”

Tyler and Kinsey look in into Bode’s head. It’s.. it’s a kids head.

It’s hard to explain the kaleidoscope of smushed together images in this two page spread. It’s dinosaurs, giant robots, memories, death moths, candy and ghosts. Just wonderful.

Bode figures he might be able to put stuff in his head and puts in a cookbook. It works. He can recite a recipe, but he still doesn’t know what it means.

Kinsey pulls out of Bode’s head the ghost girl from the well. But this makes Bode forget about Dodge. She puts it back and takes the key from Bode.

Kinsey and Tyler talk and figure there must be a lot of keys around and that the Wellhouse Lady must be still out there looking for the Omega key. Tyler figures he can use the Head key to make up for not doing his homework reading and has Kinsey put his school book in this head. She does, and gets a little peak into his headspace.

At school Tyler impresses everyone with his ability to read two books in one night.

Another 5 star willies festival.

Now it's getting even much more interesting, Bode shows Tyler and Kinsey how the head key works and now Tyler also uses the key to learn something in double-quick time. Let's see how would the story unfold.

I have always loved comics, and I hope to always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

This has the worst cover I've seen in this series by a mile, which is amusing as it's one of the best issues in this series so far. It's basically the two older kids, Tyler and Kinsey, quietly panicking about the weird shit in their little brother's empty head. It's horrifying for them, of course, as they try to piece together what's going on with the keys and their family history, but their reactions are also quite funny. This sort of domesticity-plus-weirdness storyline is something I'll always find entertaining, and it's certainly more interesting to me than the more in-your-face elements of this series. What can I say, I like character work.

Still a good volume even though we do not learn much except the fact that you add or remove memories to your head.

This is a review of the entire series.

The story follows the Locke siblings; the curious young Bode, his rebellious sister Kinsey and his mature brother Tyler. After their father is tragically murdered in a mysterious home invasion, they move to their ancestral home in Lovecraft (a very suitable name for the hellish place they're moving into) with their alcoholic mother. The Locke house holds many strange secrets, keys that unlock forbidden powers and ancient evils never meant to be released. It turns out that the murder of the Locke family's father may not have been a coincidence. There are higher forces at play, manipulating the living from the shadows and orchestrating the downfall of the entire world.

This was a great surprise. I've been reading manga my entire life, but I confess that I never got into American comics and graphic novels (until now that is.) This series managed to win me over and open up an entire new medium of fiction to me. I was impressed by how realistic and human the characters are, there are so many unique people that are developed with utmost respect and is an example of diversity done extremely well. It really does rival the best of Stephen King and other big horror writers of the same ilk. It's got body swapping, spirit battles, mind-bending powers, ghosts and demons, heavy metal culture, blood and guts, tears and trauma, it's a thrilling ride all the way through.

Every volume packed a handful of punches. Volume 4 was the weakest of the series but even that one had a strong finish that eventually led to an even stronger ending. Suffering and grief is portrayed with rich emotion. The character development is moving. The villain is merciless and is actively involved with the plot at all times. All the side characters play a big role in the climactic finale and they all get the satisfying resolutions they deserve. Great series.

Κόντεψα να ξυπνήσω όλο το τετράγωνο από τα γέλια. Και ταυτόχρονα, πώς μπορεί να είναι τόσο σκοτεινό; Αγαπώ;
