Fun in the Sun? Okay, so maybe the Nightmare Knight's been resurrected, and maybe his seven Disaster Masters are wreaking havoc across the land of Dreamside, but we can still pretend we're on vacation, right? Well, Almond and Sir Carrot seem to be in a pinch, and since we all know they can't count on our so-called "hero," Cucumber, it's probably up to the wise Princess Nautilus to triumph over evil. But what's this weird feeling of déjà vu?
Sorry, just a fangirl passing by and dropping high rating because I sort of worship the colors and the presentation of this comic. Plus it reminds me of Card Capture Sakura and Paper Mario, which are some of my favourite things in the world!
Of course, you can read the entire thing online because it is a webcomic... but it got some extras like some of the concept art of Ripple Kingdom and initial character designs, which are all very irresistible for fangirls like me.
This web comic is just so cute and fun! It's an easy read and a very entertaining story as long as you are not looking for something serious. The absurdity of many of the situations Cucumber and company find themselves in make me laugh and I thoroughly enjoy all the art. The character design is unique and silly and it totally works.
The cuteness continues! In this volume, Cucumber and Almond meet their first Disaster Master, the minions who they must beat BEFORE they approach the Nightmare Knight. It's an adventure filled with... a lot of squid monster and a new, quirky, prone-to-forgetting-important-things friend. Wee! Still adorable, well-structured, and so enjoyable, Cucumber Quest continues to deliver!
