You know a fact book is good when you open it at a random page and find a list of countries that have more cows than people. They may have gross titles, but I've always liked Mitchell Symons's books, and they're probably the best fact books I've come across. This one focusses on Geography, which isn't my favourite subject so this has to be one of my least favourite of his books, but it was entertaining all the same. I will say that as the book went on, it started to feel a little repetitive and pointless, so I think it probably should've been a bit shorter, but still a funny and fascinating fact book kids will love.
My name is Maisie and I'm going to tell you about the book 'Why you need a passport when you're going to puke' by Mitchell Symons.
I really enjoyed this book because it's full of crazy fun facts. I learned lots of new things like the first toothbrush was invented in China in 1498. And that Nauru is the worlds smallest island nation.
The book is separated into sections like 'That's surprising', 'Culture', 'People and Places' and 'Schools and Education'.
There are so many facts and each one is interesting. You can also use this book to help you with geography. When I read that Sariname has highest density of trees in the world, I looked on my map and found where Suriname is. It's in South America by the way.
I recommend this book to everyone who wants to learn things. Before I go I want to I want to tell you that I am right-handed but you can find most left handed people in Canada.
