'Recipes to Restore & Revive', what could be better for lockdown cooking?! Every single thing I've made from this has come out amazingly, Georgina gives extremely clear instructions and delicious flavours.
So far I have tried: - Sweet potato & maple breakfast loaf - 4* (tried once with, once without pancetta - better without imo) - Pudla - 4* - Lentil, greens, fennel & smoked makerel salad - 5* - One-pan creamy squash pasta - 4* - Urad dal - 5* amazingness. The ingredients cost next to nothing but my partner & I agree we could happily eat this with naan for days on end! - Blondies - 5* - slightly concerned they weren't working at the caramelisation stage but pushed on & turned out great.
A new modern classic - a simply stunning cookbook Jamie Oliver
The sort of book that has you immediately plastering its pages with post-it notes... the writing is warm, encouraging and moving Nigella Lawson
This book makes me both hungry and satisfied at the exact same time. This is the work of an enthusiastic and talented cook who understands the way we want to eat today as well as the way we want our food to look. There is no denying those two things go hand in hand and we are very lucky to hold Georgina's as she guides us through her lovely repertoire. Clare Ptak
This is a fantastic cookbook. There are so many wonderful recipes and the food photography is beautiful. My favourite recipes so far are the Sticky Plum Chicken and the One-pan Creamy Squash Pasta.
