The group is driving to find a safe place to stay at, where they are more comfortable than in the RV. They are facing a challenge as one person in the group turns out to be pregnant. Now they have to worry about the future aka the birth.
As always, great continuation. And I can’t wait to meet the rest of the character’s as I read on, and see how the story evolves.

Happy reading!♥️

This is a review of the entire series.

Rick Grimes is a strong-willed deputy who missed the end of the world because he was in a coma for a month after getting shot in the line of duty. Shaken, starving and confused, Rick escapes the horror of the abandoned hospital only to be met with something far more terrible. Not only has the world ended, but the dead have learned to walk and to kill without mercy. After learning that his wife and son have fled to Atlanta from a single survivor and his son, Rick goes on a journey to reunite with his family and search for more survivors.

Rick quickly has to come to terms with the fact that the world has ended and only a select few survived. The dead have risen from their graves and they prey on the living. In a world where every minute feels like hours, where there's no such thing as law and order, where finding a small meal is a tremendous task, the walking dead are quite possibly the least threatening thing for the survivors to have on their breaking minds. Humanity is pushed to the brink of destruction, forcing them to embrace their cruel and primal nature in order to survive. Sometimes you have to be more concerned about who you let into your community so they don't kill you in your sleep and steal everything you once cared about. Rick has no choice but to abandon the ways of law and order that he's upheld as an officer for so long in order to protect the few loved ones he has left. He has to become a monster to protect his crew or risk being devoured by those who became more monstrous than him and even the walking dead.

Despite zombies running the world and having the series named after them, what really sets this series apart from the average zombie apocalypse tale is the focus on realism and the daily struggles, flaws and depth of the characters. There's plenty of badass zombie killing action, but the action often takes a back seat to give the characters plenty of times to share their extremely tragic yet endearing stories, grow through mutual suffering and learn to adapt to a world that has left them to die. Even after the world has ended, many people still can't see eye to eye. They turn on each other and kill each other when they should come together. Others form alliances in spite of their differences and try to rebuild over the corpse of everything that was lost. The daily human drama and conflict is more intense than any monster apocalypse could hope to be.

We watch Rick struggle to balance his old moral code with the many necessary evils he has to commit in order to survive and make the world a better place for the ones he holds close. We watch people like Glen, Dale and Maggie attempt to find love in spite of having every reason to be filled with fear, hate and self-loathing. Characters like Michonne have to learn how to forgive themselves and convince themselves they deserve to be loved despite all the blood on their hands. We watch the weak like Carl and Andrea become strong and sometimes the strong become evil like The Governor. Even monsters like the wicked yet oddly lovable Negan are given the chance to find new ways of redeeming themselves by struggling alongside the other survivors that have all been changed by the horrors of the fallen world.

The pacing is extremely slow and I can understand why that may be a turnoff for a lot of people, but I eventually learned to enjoy watching the characters grow, overcome their trauma, find meaning in life and learn to love again. The characters are forced to do many terrible things to survive and it haunts them every waking moment. The ways they overcome these regrets is very realistic, human and hopeful. The slow pacing really gives the feeling that we're living beside these people. The way every tiny detail of their lives and who they are is explored makes them feel very real and believable.

When I first started reading the series, I wasn't expecting it to have such an uplifting ending. It seemed so bleak and nihilistic for a long time and things would go horribly wrong even when they seemed to be going so well, but the finale channels all the pain, suffering and betrayal of the previous volumes and tops it off with a very touching and inspiring finish. This was never a story about hopelessness. It's about learning to appreciate the little things, learning to forgive yourself and learning to move on even when it's hard. When everything seems lost there's always more to be found, even when we believe otherwise because we convince ourselves that we don't deserve to be happy ever again. Instead of dwelling on what was lost, strive to try and make things better than they were before.

I've never been a huge fan of zombie apocalypse stories, but The Walking Dead had enough heart and strong social commentary to make me stick by the characters until the end and I enjoyed every moment of their long trial.

After getting on the road (sans Dean Moriarty) our group finds a gated community (defensible space) that can be organized (overwatching) to support avenues of approach with interlocking fields of fire. A very sound decision compared to the 'campers in an open field' approach they had at the beginning! Lots of canned food has been found - things are looking a little better - for now.

Being a huge fan of the show, I wanted to see how the original writing started and how the show writers followed and deviated from the comics. My dislikes were that the comics are much more crude, crass, and unnecessarily violent. I did like the change in relationships and how people worked together differently, and the comics have a different creepiness feel than you get watching it on TV. Overall, I prefer the show, and probably will not finish out the comic book series.

This one is different from the tv series especially with Dale. However, we learn more about Tyreese. There are some surprise couplings. Also a community that appears safe, but is it really? This does bring up questions of what would you do if you found out you were pregnant during something like this? How would your feel about other's bringing a child into this world.

Salju turun semakin tebal, Rick dkk. masih mencari tempat pengungsian selanjutnya.

This felt more of a slower issue, Dale all but says 'Yo Rick, Lori's baba? Yeah that Shanes.' Then Rick & Co. stumble upon Wiltshire Estate & decide to hold up in there for the night.
Oh Andrea & Dale are apparently banging too. File that under things I never wanted to picture.

Lori tells the camp she is pregnant, Dale tells Rick he thinks it might be Shane's child and Rick says he can't think about that now because it would kill him if it was true. They find a gated community and stop there with the plan to clean out any zombies and make this their new home.

Rick and Tyreese start to clean one house so they can get out of the RV and stay in a real home. Tyreese saves Rick from a zombie with a tackle and Rick learns Tyreese used to be in the NFL, then a Bouncer and finally a Car Salesman.

Donna finds Dale and Andrea having sex while she was bringing everyone extra blankets. She is still disapproving of the two but is glad they are happy.

The snow has started to melt outside and it reveals a sign they had not seen that read "ALL DEAD, DO NOT ENTER."

The Best. The details are outstanding as always. Another great one.

The Best and The Worst. I'm adding this one because I think Donna is the best and worst. She's really good at being nosy and in every one's affairs which is what makes her both. I always like when there is that one character that is creepy as hell but yet you know you need that character there. Donna is that character. She isn't "fake" friendly, but she isn't the most open and honest friendly either. Like how she won't say anything in front of Dale or Andrea about them being together, but everyone knows how she feels about it.

The Worst. THE SNOW. Man, really this group can not get a break. ALL DEAD DO NOT ENTER. Just when you think they found a really good, possibly permanent place to stay, BOOM.

The Differences. Wiltshire Estates. Everyone about this issue doesn't happen in the TV series. You see them visit housing areas throughout the series, but everything like Wiltshire Estates has a man-made post-walker wall around it. If you've read the novels as I have, which are loosely based on these comics as well, since the comics came first, you do get told about something like Wiltshire Estates as well, and that area was described as being as luxury in accommodations as the houses you see in this issue.

Those Remembered. Several of the Wiltshire Estates Walkers died in this issue, as well as the "Frozen to the Ground" Walker that scared not only Dale but also Glenn.

Recommend: To the fans of The Walking Dead Universe, zombies, and drama horror. Also, if you love characters that are nosy, then this ones for you! Donna's your gal-pal.

This series gets better and better with each comic.

Now, in my opinion, babies are wonderful and I love them. However, given the situation the characters are in, in the comic, I really do not think it is wise for Lori to have this baby.

A baby would cause them even more stress as they tried to take care of it. They would have to somehow find food for the baby, clothes, diapers and all kinds of other stuff. Then they would also have to deal with the crying the baby would do and babies cry a lot.

A baby could alert zombies or hostile survivors to where they are, which would mean that they would all be in danger. So, that is why I do not think it would be wise for Lori to have the baby.

Rick and the group thought that were lucky to find Wilshire Estates. They are gonna change their mind's pretty quickly. I bet it is FULL of zombies.

Haha, I LOVE Tyreese. "Let's paste these suckers!" lol.

I will say that they were lucky to find those canned goods, but with as many people as they have, I do not think they will last all that long.

Oh crap, I was right! I bet they are gonna be in deep crap. Bet LOADS of zombies are gonna come out of the woodwork the next day.

Aw, damn, why did you have to end it there! I wanted to see what was gonna happen! Lol. LOVED this issue.

They've made the first real stop on their journey away from the city. They are looking for a place to semi-permanently occupy. It's a gated community. It was nice and locked up. There is plenty of food in the house they picked out. Sure, they had to kick and few zombie butts that came out in the basement, but it otherwise seems ideal.

Alas, the last panel shows a sign in the front of the community that was snowed over. When the snow melts it is revealed that all within the gated community are dead. I don't think escaping this one is going to be as easy as the last time. In fact, I'm worried that everyone is in bed right now. Will they find a surprise waiting for them in the morning? We'll have to see.

Also--the ice queen melteths! Hurray! No more curmudgeonyness from the old valued ... what was her name? *shrug* Either I remember it soon, or she'll die and I won't have to.

So, Lori is preggers and Dale suggests that the baby's daddy might be Shane.

Rick is worried that it might be cuz he's only been with his wife once since he got to camp.

We find out that zombies will freeze up when it's cold. This is good to know. If it keeps snowing then they'll be safe.

The gang finds a gated community called "Wiltshire Estates". It's full of nice houses and the gang figures they can live there for a while.

Tyreese appears to be Rick's new Right Hand Man and we also find out that he played for the NFL for 2 years.

Donna is passing out extra blankets that she finds in the one house everyone is spending the night in. She goes to give Dale one and finds him and Andrea getting ready to get it on. So, she keeps that blanket for her and her hubz.

Ummm... eww?!!! I had no clue that Dale and Andrea were gonna do it. In the show it was more of a Father/Daughter thing. Not a TOUCH MY BOOBIES type thing ;)

A big reveal is at the end of this issue which tells why the community is deserted.

Overall this was a good issue. I liked how it started right from the cliffhanger then went from there. The finding of the safe place was great as was the cliffhanger ending(again) about the safe place. Andrea/Dale part was a bit shocking even though I did know it was coming,
