4/5 ⭐️ Okay so I had no clue what these comics were about. I got them along with some other series from a person off of Facebook. Overall I enjoyed these 1-4 comics. It was a bit hard to follow in the beginning but I quickly got the hang of it. The art style is p cool and Lady Death is also p hot.
My introduction to the Lady Death series. I'd say she's a bad ass character 🔥 ( a little full of fan service) but very cool. I enjoyed the artwork, I definitely understand that the fan service side of things is kinda what you're supposed to get with this one. I'd say the story line is average. I definitely like a little more substance to my graphic novels. The first volume definitely got me to check out the next one though. The first issue seems a little info dumpy, it shows us how lady death was formed and touches on her motives.
Lady Death gets a bad rap because she runs around in her underwear and most of the characters are half naked, but if you can get past that (or maybe that's that's the best part for some) then there's a decent story there. These are the early Avatar issues which give a somewhat different origin than the original Chaos issues. The art is great and yes, very sexy. The story sort of drops you in the middle but even at that it's pretty easy to catch on to what's happening. I'm pleasantly surprised at this point.
This was the stupidest book I've ever read. The artwork was horrible. The positions of the characters made no sense. I mean, they were in the most awkward positions that didn't make any physical sense. The story was shit. Seriously, this book sucked. I only finished it because I paid for it. I could have gone my whole life without reading this shit.
"Las almas que se resisten mas son siempre la mas sabrosas."
"Y yo que he sido llamada fruto prohibido, canto de sirena y tentación echa carne... se como tentar incluso a la muerte.... e incluso la muerte puede morir."
Story is good and fun with Intresting lore. But what pushes it to four star is the exceptional illustration. And no I am not just referring to the scantily clad ladies, the whole world is rendered in vivid art. With amazing creatures and epic battles
I didn't find Lady Death until they'd restarted her story post the most recent publisher change and honestly, I felt that at the time that the start was a bit jarring. However, they're now past the first trade, and being able to read Lady Death's story from the beginning has filled in several missing gaps.
