I expected to mainly enjoy the revolution history (I DON'T SUPPORT IT), but ended up enjoying it's whole history.

2.5 stars. This was a nicely informative book about various aspects of Russian history and culture. Sadly, my library doesn't have the most current edition which I'm sure would cover the end of the cold war and modern Russia much better. Overall a great book, but definitely read a newer edition. A lot has happened in Russia since the 90s.

I liked all of the interesting pictures in this book and the small blurbs about each picture. I think the eyewitness books have really great information and are an awesome tool to helping students learn.
