This book is perfect for the fast-paced holiday season, but it's still good fun at any time. With short vignettes, you can read many articles or just one at a time if time is limited. Readers are bound to find something in these pages to relate to - they'll either see themselves or someone they know. It is all good, clean fun, and most of the articles tie in to the real reason for the season: the birth of Jesus.

I guess I’m a Scrooge, I didn’t find this humorous at all.

This book, Humor for the Holidays, is made up of short funny holiday stories for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Every short story is written by a different author. These short stories are all very relatable to our holidays. For example one short story is about not finding a parking spot during the shopping season of Christmas and that is relatable.
I picked up this book, because it was holiday break, so I thought I should get myself into the holiday spirit and I thought it might be fun to read this book.
I finished it because I enjoyed all the little short stories. For some of them, I can picture myself in the situation.
I would recommend this book to anyone who would enjoy reading books relating to the holiday season.

While the stories in this book were wonderful, the fact that this was a Christian focused book frustrated me. There is nothing on the cover that tells me that. If I had known, I would have but been so anger when I found out later. Every story has to have a God or keeping Christ in Christmas moment. Like I said, if the cover or even the back told me that I was in for this, I would probably have given the book a 3 or 4 stars - because I loved the stories. But instead I felt twisted.

A collection of cute little Christmas/Thanksgiving ditties that will make you smile, not unlike Chicken Soup for the Holidays (if there is one, which there probably is). A gift from Laurie in 2006 which I put away with some other Christmas books and promptly forgot about. It was doubly enjoyed this year because I actually had time to read it!

I bought this book several years ago to get in the Christmas spirit. A couple of the essays are cute, a couple are heartwarming, a few are humorous. Not enough of them were worth the full price I paid at Barnes and Noble.

Perfect short stories for when I needed a little pick-me-up. Each one was tied into a short Bible reference at the end. Great reading during the rush and stress of the holidays.

I didn't read every story, but enjoyed those I picked. I chose Christmas stories and delighted in them all. Good read for quick respite during busy holidays.
