Michael Hague selects his favorite Mother Goose rhymes. "The full-color pictures are lovely to look at; some are enclosed paintings while others wander over an expanse of white page." -- Booklist

Grew up with Michael Hague's Hobbit and loved it but sometimes there's something wrong with his pictures. The faces are ugly and postures contorted in many of these illustrations.
Classic collection of nursery rhymes that I think every child should read or their parents read it to them. I remember them well from my childhood and I believe other children will too who read or have parents or teachers that read this book to them. I think nursery rhymes help build a child’s imagination. Highly recommend.
I was able to remember when I was a little girl and my grandmother used to read these nursery rhymes to me. I was also able to learn a few new ones, that although they are old in age, they were new to me.
