I preferred the old Brooklyn Cookbook, it was more entertaining, and recipes I would probably use. Most of the recipes in this book are interesting but due to ingredients or time I doubt if I would make any.
This is a regional book for those familiar with Brooklyn and want to try to make the dishes served by these establishments, or visit new restaurants.
If I was to go visiting Brooklyn, or living I would want to see the restaurants and experience, however now that Covid 19 has visited the country they may not be open and I will never, probably, get the chance.
I hope the establishments in the book make it.
