Another outlandish tale told by Meggie to her mother about the escapades that happened at Jimmy's birthday party when his mother gave him a goldfish. Jimmy takes his boa, and his goldfish to his birthday party at seaworld. The high jinks begin after Jimmy's mother fall in the shark tank.

Hilarious! I really enjoyed reading this book to the students. Worked excellent for a sequencing writing assignment as there are lots of problems and solutions throughout the story! The illustrations are so busy and fun to explore. Highly recommend!

Cute but it didn't age well including the aquatic zoo after the truth about Sea World came out.

I love the backwards story telling. You can also read them, or at least go over the story from back to front but it isn't as much fun.

I don't like this one as much as "ate the wash." Probably because I didn't grow up with it, and probably because I got a little lost following all of it. Besides, this one was just a bit less "believeable" than the one on the farm. As a child, I liked imagining what that day at the farm was like. It's hard for me to imagine this party at Sea Land. I don't think this will work in my birthday-theme storytime. While kids may enjoy the story, I think the preschool kids will be lost like me.

This book is full of imagination from a young boy who becomes very adventurous when out for a birthday party with his pet snake. The text in the book is full of cause and effect situations and the pictures are full of action. This book would be enjoyed by a snake lover or someone with a wild imaginations. T

This is an awful book. It doesn't make sense. There is no flow to the story. The only redeeming aspect is the illustrations. I am disappointed that we paid money for this.

Another very funny Jimmy's Boa book! Great for teaching cause and effect or sequencing. Grades K-3.
